Saku is attractive in a strange Two-Face kind of way, where one room is all pink sakura lightness and being, while the other room (where we were seated) is all dark, depressing velvet underground melancholy.

The menu kind of reflects this struggle too, as it can't seem to decide if it wants to offer more traditional Japanese sushi-ya fare or something more innovative. As a result, we kind of wound up with the middling middle with our choice of 4 specialty...
We went for Mother’s Day “brunch buffet” and they didn’t had all the advertising menu available. The sushi was great! The service wasn’t good because when we ask for the rice and chicken teriyaki the manager bring a side (because we ask for all the menu and they said didn’t had more chicken) and wasn’t good so they did in a bad attitude. I don’t know about the regular menu but brunch aren’t worth it.
I was visiting Hoboken this weekend and stopped in for dinner Saturday. I had a 10/10 experience and I’ll start with the staff. My server Tori was excellent (and gorg) and so helpful with the menu and providing recommendations. My friends and I got a bunch of things to split and the crispy rice is a must order. Rock shrimp roll was delicious and I’ll say I’m not a big fan of fruit with my sushi but im reconsidering after the mango roll…. Omg. Drinks were also amazing,...
