I had a real delicious burger here at this place. The French Onion burger was nicely cooked and mounted quite nicely. The place has nice vibrant vibe and staff was friendly. Ambient was comfy but since it was brunch time on a Sunday the music was a bit too loud, what was making conversation a bit hard to happen, but anyways, it was brunch time.

It’s good for brunch. It’s a fun, bottomless style brunch. Don’t go here for like a quiet date night. People get rowdy here. Food is really good and the price matches the quality which is nice. If you do dinner here - go during the week. Brunch food is OK. This is not a spot I crave for food - it’s more so I go to drink

I went on December 21 for brunch. I was not informed nor was it advertised on their social media that it was also Hoboken’s Santa Con, yet their online reservation system had availabilities. Food and drinks were alright. It was VERY crowded, loud, and made the overall experience unenjoyable.
Our server was lovely and patient but just wish people were informed ahead of time to save them a trip when there’s a huge event going on, especially if they’re coming from out of town like our group.

Didn't try food or drinks. I went for an Indian glow in the dark event. There weren't enough blacklights and event was not really glow in the dark. There was no darkness also. The DJ didn't have updated fresh songs. For an hour they also played some Punjabi songs no one could relate to. Didn't feel safe bcoz there were some guys yelling and dancing like they crazy.. inappropriately touching back. They should hire some bouncers for women to ensure women feel safe in their event. Overall..they need to improve a lot. $25 for an event like that is not worth it.

That's why I go out to eat and I'll post what I post if it's good it was not. I'm going to let the restaurant owner know that it wasn't but the wings were dry. Everything I got was not good. It was just sitting there. Nothing was fresh. Good night
Parking: Parking around here it sucks. Only if you live around here is okay
The place was nicly decorated service was okay but what really made it one star was my complete disgust of rats.
As I started to eat, my friend and I saw a rat run around right next to our table.
The last thing you want to see when eating at a fancy and expensive restaurant is a rat right next to your table.
We immediately paid and got out

Ainsworth is one of my “go to” spots in Hoboken for a consistently good bottomless brunch. The space is great for birthday celebrations or just a fun brunch day with family and friends. The vibe is upbeat and fun and there’s always great music playing to keep you shoulder swaying in your seat. There hasn’t been a menu item that I have not enjoyed yet. A few favorites are the Brunch Burger with Truffle Waffle Fries, Steak and Eggs, and the Hangover Mac N Cheese that surely “does not disappoint.” The standard bottomless mimosa is $45 per person with a $10 up charge of you want to go with the Bellini instead which I highly recommend. The wait staff are always attentive, professional, and courteous. It’s a definite must try if you are looking for a fun brunch vibe.

I’m giving this a two for one reason. Whoever (probably management) decided that the music needs to be at level 11 at all times needs to be spoken to. Went once for Sunday brunch, had to sit outside because it was so loud. And we’re not old people, we just wanted to be able to have a conversation. And I just called the restaurant for a delivery order, and the music was so loud that it was hard to hear the staff. This is like Kitchen Nightmare stupidity. Everything else is fine, just turn down the music before like 10 PM!
Edit: Just looked at other reviews and similar comments on the loud music go back almost 10 years. So probably won’t change. Do yourself a favor and sit outside.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. If I could give zero stars I would. My friends and I arrived having a standing reservation for a party of 12. They failed to mention that there would be a $700 minimum for our party. They tried to charge us $1,061. We only ordered TAP WATER and he wanted to charge us the whole bill. The manager was very rude while we explained that we received no email or any type of confirmation or even some sort of notification that we would be excepted to pay $1,000. Just absolutely ridiculous and so nasty. We will never be returning. Be warned if you are bringing a large party they will attempt to charge you wayyyyyy moreeeee
