The lady there was incredibly nice, very patient with me. Excellent food and bevs, the lady there recommended the brown sugar latte which was amazing! Highly recommend
This place is fine but could be so much better for the location. Every coffee I’ve gotten there has been great. The baked goods are not, and I really hope they change their source bakery. The prices are on a level with good French pastry bakers like bien cuite, choc o pain, or Balthazar, but the quality is closer to pastries from a breakfast cart in the city. I have always loved the coffee here, I come here directly off the train and usually have the best experience. Today the barista was so nasty, I will never return. I order the same drink every single time, and iced latte. The barista served me a hot latte, I politely corrected her that it’s iced and she said you said hot. The friendly staff, including a notable employee, make the experience even better. Open early, it’s perfect for a quick grab-and-go option, offering pastries, bagels with bacon, egg, and cream cheese, and decent baked goods. However, sandwiches are not made fresh and can sell out quickly, so they are not ideal for a full meal. Overall, Trackside Jo is a convenient spot for a caffeine fix before catching a train.
