Our “go to” when visiting Hoboken from out of town is Leo’s Grandevous. Since we had already eaten there this trip, we sought out a new restaurant last Saturday (12/27/25).
Very glad we found Zach’s and we’ve added it to our “must visit” list.
The restaurant has a great comfortable feel. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and professional, and the meal was 5 Star.
Highly recommend Zach’s.
Have been going to Zack's for years. The food and ambience have always been great. Tonight however, when we went to pay, we noticed two extra items added to our check. The bartender heard us talking about it and took it off, but didn’t seem surprised about the mixup. He then appeared to be joking about it to another bartender.
I can’t say for certain that it was intentional, but it did leave a bad taste in our mouths and they didn’t appear to be apologetic....

Zack’s has a nice atmosphere; brunch is quiet enough to catch up with friends and during the day the entire bar looks beautiful. The food was simple and to the point. The steak was a little overdone. I particularly loved the lemon ricotta pancakes. I just wish they had a mimosas offering (bottomless maybe?)
