“I don’t understand the 3 star rating ??

This is a staple hometown Chinese takeout spot in Hopatcong. You will see hundreds of people walk through their doors daily. I used to work in the plaza and witnessed it myself

Yes, it’s not the most fancy interior. But the owners are amazing people who serve great food . Go to a michelin star restaurant and try asking for “Wor-Shu Duck” the waiter would look confused. Guess who has it ? Lucky House .. and it’s delicious!!

Even their simple dishes like chicken & broccoli, egg fu yung, etc… all are good. You get huge portions of delicious food for a cheap price.

“MQ&CO was everything we had hoped for on our wedding day. Maurice catered cocktail hour and dinner. He was professional and courteous to all of our guests. The food was delicious and we were able to be involved in creating the menu. Day of, Maurice and his employee were excellent. We had our bartender cancel on us due to weather a few hours earlier, so Maurice took on the extra role. We couldn't have been happier with the food and service he and his staff provided. “There is no doubt that the food is good. I have been talking about their quiche since I had it this summer. On my second visit, although our waitress was very sweet and accommodating, it was hard to get a table that we could be comfortable in. No place to put you purse as the way the chairs are designed you cant hang them on the back. So I had to hold my purse through out the meal. They wouldnt give us a four seater for two even after the lunch rush at 1:45pm, but then used it for side work during our visit. And with such a small sized table they dont clear used dishes. Train the waitresses to clear. They also overcooked my quiche as well and I dont care for burnt offerings. Disappointing comparitively to the 1st experience. And the manager/supervisor need to work on how she addresses people when she is saying no. I dont want to hear excuses, I want to hear that you are sorry that you cant accommodate me. My first experience was much better. I'll give them another try. Maybe it was an off day.“

“I walked in out of the blue. The place is quiet and unassuming. I was greeted as I approached the counter. They were very, very welcoming. After a little bit it was like we knew each other well. They made me feel very comfortable. The food was very good with lots of flavor. My order came out relatively quick. We talked and I watched the game (MTY vs AME). I had a great experience and was very impressed with this place. I highly recommend anyone give it a try. Also, prices are very good and worth every penny!“

The owners are very pleasant and fast with orders. Place is small but functional and clean. Reminds me of a New York corner store. 5 stars! Highly recommend.“
