“My husband and I had our wedding reception at Crystal Plaza on January 20th, 2024. From the moment we stepped foot inside we knew our venue tours were done. The energy that exudes from the cocktail hour area, with dark wood and a fireplace to an outdoor atrium-like room, into the grand ballroom which is bright and timeless- it’s the perfect place to get married and have an unforgettable party. The bridal suite was like nothing I had ever seen before, it was gorgeous, spacious and full of light and the grooms vault was everything my husband could have possibly asked for plus more. The grounds are immaculate, the chandeliers both inside and out are out of this world. I mean, the place is just perfect in every single way. After meeting Max (who we love!!!!) and setting our date, we instantly felt like we had a new family in Crystal Plaza that were going to guide us through the planning process. We were not wrong. From vendor recommendations to simple questions that I probably could have googled, Max and Talmia were outstanding with communication, I wouldn’t have been able to plan my wedding without them. The food is out of this world, it was not regular “wedding food”, our guests raved about cocktail hour, dinner and traveling treats which we did for desserts. The Crytal Plaza team accommodated our every need, want and desire, no stone was left unturned, and the day went on flawlessly. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and we wouldn’t have wanted to have it anywhere else. We want to send major thanks to our Maitre D Team Mikheill, Rovin and Jason who were an absolute pleasure to have beside us that night making sure everything was perfect. Our suite attendants Ariel and Johanz- who were extremely helpful while we were getting ready, brought us anything we needed and were always right there in case we had any questions, our Bridal and Groom attendants, Gerald and Chloe who were with us after our ceremony to ensure we were ready to party and have the best time. I have to say Chloe was exceptional, she was by my side all night and her energy was awesome- she was so helpful, attentive and she was just another bright light during our special day, as well as Gerald who my husband had a wonderful experience with, he was so kind and accommodating and made sure any and everything that they needed was done. My biggest disappointed was the mai'tred at the wedding not once came up to my husband or I or even the bride or groom once asking us if we needed a drink he introduced himself said he was there to help us after that no show. We waited on long lines just to get a drink. My other daughter's wedding we were waited on hand and foot. Especially the bride and groom should have been treated differently. lastly a little disappointed my baskets for the bathroon were never put out again I had to find the attendance to ask for them that something I should not have to do. When we received the baskets back they were empty there was no way every wedding guest took everything out of the baskets just kinda strange they wold keep everything????? Again the hall is great, amazing ......but the staff running the wedding questionable. If you go ask for Joe'l you will love her!!!! She's the best!!! “Had the pleasure of stopping into Iorio Deli with friends Eric from Cultinary Road Trip and Tyler from Foodula. Had the chance to meet “The Boss” Gilda and her son Joe as well as the rest of the very friendly and helpful staff here. We tried a plethora of things so this may take a minute haha.Started off with two stuffed breads - A Reuben as well as a Pepperoni roll. The Reuben had a great flavor and the bread itself was tasty. It was slightly odd in my mind to eat a Reuben without grilled rye, but I enjoyed this. The pepperoni stuffed bread was also good and was even better with the addition of some sauce (they called it gravy and I thought I was in trouble haha).After that we were hit with some delicious Italian items including their house made meatballs, Italian sausage and peppers, and chicken Parmesan. The meatballs were just rated #1 in Central Jersey and #2 in the entire state of NJ at the Pizza Bowl a few months back. I could see why. Very tender, perfectly seasoned, and again that sauce/gravy was killer. To be honest though, I may have enjoyed the sausage even more! I mentioned how I didn’t get hit with that typical overwhelming pop from fennel seed and Joe said they make it with ground fennel so the flavor is still there but it’s not so in your face. I loved, and I mean loved, this sausage. The chicken parm was also very good but I had a small piece because I knew what was coming next!We finished off by trying two sandwiches that Iorio is well known for. The first was “The Jocelyn” which was a roast beef and Swiss melt on an onion roll, and the second was “The Sloppiest Joe” which was a North NJ staple “sloppy joe” but in epic proportions. The Jocelyn had good flavor and the onion roll was a nice touch and change of pace. The sloppiest Joe is sitting inside the top 3 I’ve had probably ever. The meats were freshly sliced and piled high, the rye was super fresh, and the Cole slaw had get flavor and added welcomed creaminess to the sandwich.As if there was any doubt at all - Iorio Deli in Roselle Park, NJ - Didn’t Suck!“

Pros The staff, from the manager, assistants, and bartender were all friendly and helpful throughout the whole process of our event when needed. They definitely went above and beyond for us! The food was really good too and come with a quite a beautiful dessert wall. Further they have some things some venues don't have, like a red carpet, wall lights, and a TV. Cons We did have issues with the speakers connecting with our music (Apple Music) but it may have worked better if you used Spotify. It didn't take away from the event at all! Odds and Ends The venue is a bit small which can be good or a bad thing depending on the number of people you may have. Overall, if you are looking for a small event and are in the area, I definitely recommend it!“

I loved the texture of the waffle and it wasn't overly sweet. We also had the combo whiting/shrimp with greens and Mac and cheese. The fish and shrimp were well seasoned. The shrimp were a nice size. The mac and cheese was absolutetly cheesy and not dry. We also had a fish sandwich which was served with cajun fries. As a fry snob I had to steal one and I will be back for my own order. “I am a very happy repeat client of Domenick Rizzo Catering! In early June, I hired Dom to host an upscale cocktail party to celebrate my son's law school graduation. Dom and his team are amazing! He is so easy to collaborate with, worked within my budget, and came up with such fun and innovative ideas. Ex: doing cool drink pairings to accompany each of the passed hors d'oeuvres. So we had Shrimp ceviche with fresh mango and avocado paired with a white sangria shot, Black bean and roasted corn empanada's with a chipotle creme paired with a margarita shot, lobster rolls paired with a shot of sam adams beer, Hoison pork belly Boa Buns paired with a shot of Japanese beer, and so much more, including grill stations and beautifully displayed grazing tables.
