Fudgy the Whale is still delicious! It was definitely made fresh with lots of crunchies in the middle. Freshly made is the way to go!

Carvel Hopewell Pennington is a wonderful experience with great staff and awesome service. The owner goes above and beyond with care and generosity, making customers feel valued. The ice cream birthday cake was a great hit with kids asking for seconds, so a bigger size is needed next time. Carvel ice cakes are truly amazing, and whether preordered or bought on the day, kids and adults are impressed, though fridge storage as big as the cake is needed for a few hours. This place is special for hot fudge sundaes and soft serve ice cream, and the Peppermint Hot Chocolate is the perfect mix of chocolate with a minty hint. The Sundae Dashers are suggested. The interior design keeps a classic Carvel look that is really nostalgic, and this location specializes in Carvel ice cream cakes with a huge selection made fresh onsite, plus Flying Saucers. The scooped ice cream and mint soft-serve are available. Staff is really nice and informative, making it a go-to ice cream spot. Carvel is yummy, with names written on cakes, a wide variety, and is very warm and welcoming for all ages, including children.
