We really enjoyed our lunch here on a road trip to NJ. The service was quick and the food was great. The seating was a little cramped, but we appreciated sitting inside in the AC on a 100 degree day. Definitely recommend the ham and gruyere omlette!
I came in for breakfast between 7:45 and 8. First time back in a while. A few people seated. There were at least 8 servers, most trying to look busy. This adds to the nervous energy this place has. I can't say that enough...the little groups of 2 and 3 servers engaging in their own conversations and oblivious to the fact that they are working gives off this weird vibe that makes dining uncomfortable.

Chubby's is a lovely neighborhood place. The food is good and the people couldn't be friendlier. But it doesn't run like a professionally managed restaurant, so don't go if you're in a hurry.
