“On the price:value axis, this place has it going ON.The carbonara I got wasn't a true carbonara, more an Alfredo with bacon, but honestly I like my pasta saucy so no complaints here!It was delicious. Portions fabulous. For the $20 I paid, I got 2 meals of pasta.My waitress was busy AF but on point. She always glanced at me as she passed and knew what I needed and just kept the flow going. “I love the food. Everything I've had has been awesome.. there Calamari is awesome.. and if you like loaded fries try them here. You will be okay. Drinks are great and they have a good selection of liquors. “We love this place. Have been coming here for years. Great food, especially the pizza. It has lots of seating including booths, high tops and tables. The bar is spacious and the crowd is friendly. The staff is great, no matter how crowed it is everything comes out quickly. Past night had the spinach dip that was made in a bread bowl, my new favorite appetizer, feeds two people. Plenty of parking.“

“The food was really good. But the service wasn't that good. It felt like our server where we sat in the bar area forgot about us. We waited 20 minutes when we got to our seats for her to come back and get our order. Then we saw her 1 time after that. Maybe it was a fluke but first impressions are very important.“
“Had my husband's surprise 30th birthday here (we've been several times before - it's one of our favorite spots!) and they were amazing from start to finish. Super easy to book, flexible with the menu, and our serve Kelly was on top of it the whole time. She made everything super easy and was so attentive to our decently sized group. Food was brought out promptly and everyone raved about how good it was. Will continue to come here for dinner and will definitely be on the top of our list for parties in the future!“
“This place gets very crowded, very quickly. I used to come here all the time when I lived in the area, so I figured I would stop in since I was in town. They have done renovations and the restaurant looks great. The food and service is still top notch. It is a very small establishment; if you are looking for a lot of room, this is not the place for you. They have a great beer selection and different types of food, from apps to entrees and desserts. The Jester is a staple in Freehold so I recommend a visit. They also have AMI jukebox for those who love music.“
“This Chapter House is excellent!! Stumbled across this place by accident, and a good thing we did! The Caprese Panini is the best I EVER had! The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the pesto was delicious, you could tell homemade. I substituted the fries for vegetables, and even the broccoli and carrots were so fresh. We sat at the bar, and the bartender Heidi was so nice, personable, and provided excellent service. A true experienced professional! She checked on us, made sure our food was to our liking, and friendly. It wasn't about her just doing her job. We can tell she likes what she does. The bar and restaurant were also very clean. We will be back.“
