My wife and I have dined at Raine’s in Howell twice now, the first time we were there I had the Fried pastry stuffed with meat (pastelitos), fried pork chops, the rice (Moro de oro), fried plantains ( tostones) and for dessert I had the tres leches. Love this Spanish cuisine hidden gem. My favs grilled charcoal chicken/shrimp with white rice, habichuelas ( beans) salad and tostones. Let's not forget the morir sonando drink ;)
Just ordered some food here with my family. My husband was especially excited because it's Puerto Rican food. The restaurant is cozy. I can't say. Much about the service since we just ordered and picked up. The person in the front was a little awkward though. Not sure if she understood English much.We ordered papa rellana, maduros, pernil, and chicharron mofongo.All were pretty good. Our order came with rice and beans.
