“Selman restaurant nan Irvington ki gen bon manje ayisyen, manmi an pwop anpil, e lè li la li bay bon service. Selman pate yo ki kem pa renmen paske yo manke sòs men tout manje yo bon.The only best Haitian restaurant in Irvington, cause of the quality and cleanliness. The patties are not all that. When they owner is there service is spectacular.Keep in mind this was Sunday dinner“

“I'm not from NJ, but I accidentally drove 40 mns to this place because I was craving haitian food. All I can say is I was not disappointed!
It started with their customer service, because when I realized how far it was and wanted to cancel, they offered to drive it to me, which I declined but was nice of them nonetheless.
The food was fresh, super delicious and on the large order, they give you enough food to feed you twice. The macaroni salad was great, duri djondjon was awesome and the Tasso kabrit was excellent. If you're in Irvington or close by, this is one spot that I'd definitely recommend!“

“Edit: When I got home, I warmed the food up and ate it. After warming, the chicken WAS stewed, and was so flavorful.. Food was delicious!

I stopped here for my lunch while on route with my job. The customer service is good! The food was ok tho. I got a small stew chicken, and the chicken wasn’t really stewed. My was very cold, as if it has been in the fridge, but my rice and beans were fresh and hot. Wasn’t digging that. Also the chicken wasn’t as flavorful as I thought it was going to be. Wanted to give 5 stars because I support Black Business of all nations/ cultures, but serving me cold chicken is gets a bad review. Other than that, it was ok.“

“The food was great, but if you're looking for the restaurant's name, you'll be going in circle. They've moved and are using a completely different name (Mant-lo Provision Alimentaire) which is the last building on the left.“

“Delicious and FRESH food. Very good Haitian place on my now three visits. It's a high-quality takeout restaurant and level of service depends on the person waiting on you. I have had okay service by some and great hospitality from others (the owner and Jemima, I believe is her name, have both given excellent personal service). Either way, the food makes up for it.I've had the pork griot, which is so delicious. Many places you get fried pork, you might be chewing for days; theirs is tender and flavorful. I just had the fritaille platter with the pork and everything included was fresh and delicious. I've also had the fish, chicken, and beef patties made with homemade puff pastry. They were all fresh and SO FLAKEY. Perfect puff pastry. They're also well-priced and a good value. Don't hesitate to try them, it's always busy for a reason!
