“This is definitely the best Haitian food I ever tasted in my entire life: this food is so delicious; the customer service was excellent, the place is deeply cleaned, those bathrooms was deeply clean: me and my friends tried 3 items and all of them was so delicious. The tassot with black rice, the griot with rice and beans and the The shrimp with sauce and plantain; Oh my God, that’s was so tasty. I recommend everyone to visit the Cap restaurant and lounge and I’m 100% sure you are not gonna be disappointed.“

“I found out about this place from my cousin. As a Latino I have tried all types of rice from mexican to traditional rice and beans from Puerto Rico and Dominican republic. Also let's not forget Cuba, never have Iv been so addicted to hatian rice in my life. I usually order party tray from them because my whole family takes home extra. “This place has the best halal Haitian beef patties. Super layered pastry beef and chicken. And the price is super good. Don’t eat in your car it will get super messy. They have fish patties too. They have other baked goods too but I’d say the Haitian meat patties are the star of the show. Super suggest beef. Not the chicken or fish“

“Ran out of Haitian bean sauce, so I went online to order some. Found a few solid spots and ended up getting the gratin and the plantain sandwich. Both hit, but the plantain sandwich caught me off guard. Didn’t think it’d be that good. And the gratin’s the only one out of the three Haitian restaurants I’ve tried that I actually liked. Mom’s is still better. Their bean sauce was great too.“

“This is by far the best Haitian food in Brooklyn. Cafeteria style , choose grab and go spot ! They make things fresh and hot ready to eat! Also love the fact that it has all the season and is really attention to detail when it comes to the ingredients! Also they will fill your plate like it’s Easter Sunday and thanksgiving! “It is the best place to get Haitian patties for all occasions. The good thing about this place is that they always have fresh baked patties ready to go, they never sell you leftovers patties. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. They also sell fresh Haitian breads and miniature patties.“

The only downside was that the front door was locked when we arrived, so we had to knock/wait to be let in, and they are cash only, which can be inconvenient if you’re not prepared. Overall, I’d still recommend it for the food and service, but bring cash and be aware you might need to get someone to open the door.“

The food was amazing order consisted of Haitian patties variety (spinach, beef, fish, chicken), call the champagne and Haitian cookies (the cookies were OK). “I’m Guyanese, but I absolutely adore food and culture. I love the language, the food, and after every restaurant I visit, I’m always treated poorly

when I inquire about the cuisine. So, when I read great reviews about this restaurant, I was a bit hesitant to go in. I was afraid i might insult me because I don’t speak the language. But to my surprise, she greeted me warmly and asked, “Hello, baby! How can I help you?” behind her it’s a portrait of her loving husband. That has passed away.

I was instantly captivated and didn’t even taste the food. The kindness she showed me made me realize that this place is a haven where food is made with love. Even though I don’t speak the language,

she always greets me with warmth and affection, calling me “hello, baby.” I visit this restaurant on my saddest days. I crave comfort in a delicious home cooked meal and love also, is delicious delicious delicious

“Oh my goodness this is the cutest bakery ever! We walked in and were just amazed at the giant cinnamon rolls and the croissants. I couldn't pick between the danishes, but I got strawberry and it was amazing! We loved the almond cream in the almond croissant, the brioche dough cinnamon roll was nice and fluffy and rich, and the chocolate croissant (I forgot the actual name of it) was very flakey and just amazing. Everything in total was very cheap, just about $21 I believe. The people working were so nice and they explained everything we had questions about. Our only regret is not getting another cinnamon roll for the road :(“
