“Best piklies I’ve ever had by far, it’s actually spicy unlike other restaurants where it’s not so hot which I understand for customers. But this place made it so perfect and also there Macorni Gratin is also excellent , I finally found a Hatian restaurant that sells some, I’ll definitely be back for more.“

“I was in the area for a work training and was looking for food, this was the only place with good ones and it was worth following the hunch. I got white rice and black beans with fried chicken a side salad and fried plantains. The food took about 15 mins which was a good sign. No good sitting out that had been cooked earlier. The food was fresh and made for me. The white rice was soft and fluffy and the chicken was tasty. The black beans were packed with flavor and spices. The wiener was very friendly and threw in a beef patty which was crunchy and fresh. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!“

“The food was good and there was seating so you can eat your food there if you choose. As there are no Hatian restaurants where we live, we drove 1 hour to go to Jean's. The staff wasn't the friendliest at first and seemed annoyed until my partner started speaking Creole, then they warmed up a bit. It took longer than expected to get our meals, however again the food was good.“

“If I am craving for true and tasty Haitian cuisine, this is where I go. They have the comfort foods that I enjoy like griyo, fritay, lesgumes, poule fri, pwason fri. Their customer service is impeccable. It's not easy to find Caribbean restaurants that put a cashier that is actually nice and humble. They're usually mean. The gentleman and lady are charismatic, they joke with you, they put you at ease and arrange the food to go. They listen to what you want to order and sometimes help you decide what you want if you're indecisive like I am. The guy is patient. Even the cook is nice. They quickly acknowledge you as soon as you step into their establishment. The food is good. My favorite dish there so far is the fried red snapper. I love how crispy and well seasoned it is. I wish they improve the pate kòde though. They need to have a better farin (flour) done overnight and more ingredients in the pate instead of so much dough. Other than that, I recommend these guys a 100%. I hope their business booms and they add another restaurant by Wood ave or Fairfield ave? One can only wish.“
