“These reviews are old and that's why the rating is terrible. The food is pretty good. A little above basic. Maybe new ownership? Who knows. I've not had an issue with my food. I live their honey chicken wings, the lo mein and broccoli is so good. Really nothing to complain about. The food is always fresh and hot. Always done on time. I like it alot.“
“The easiest place to eat vegetarian. It’s so flavorful and everything has been 10/10. I tried their cashew ricotta and pear with honey drizzle, amazing. Their lentil soup; amazing. Their cauliflower stew, so good. Everything is amazing here. If you’re looking for a switch up on your diet, I can’t think of a better place. Feels amazing to eat something tasty but not feel bloated and tired after. So good! New favorite local spot“
“Sunday after Papermill performance. Bright cheery simple family owned. One of the owners who seated us inside was super friendly and informative. Apps and Mains delish well prepared and presented. Mango and Taro drinks, mango pudding all delish. Reasonably priced.Quick service. Wish we lived nearer as this would def.be a regular spot.“
“The owner is welcoming the wings fried hard pack with favor. He let us sample the house sangria which was delicious. This spot doesn’t miss a beat with the menu options. Rocket fuel is definitely a hidden gem and highly recommended for anyone that what to try new original favors. Last but not least stand of experience is was when I told the owner I was feeling the teriyaki sauce the cook in real time fix the recipe to my personal liking, now I’m forever a customer.“
“We visited this establishment on an early Saturday afternoon. I was accompanied by a party of 6. Mambo Cuban is a beautifully decorated eatery with such a Havana vibe! We loved it. The food, the staff the music, the drinks... We enjoyed everything!“
“Dropped by today for lunch, got a grilled eggplant wrap. Full of flavor, super juicy and as thick as a baseball. Fresh mozz, arugula, grilled eggplant, sun dried tomatoes, roasted red peppers and a balsamic fig glaze on a whole wheat wrap. This and a can of soda was $14.24. Good stuff!“
“I ordered pork fried rice and chicken wings and BABYYYYYY I've never had chicken wings so good and crunchy from a Chinese restaurant. The rice was fresh. I really enjoyed. They also had great prices. I had and eight wing combo with the fried rice, and one order of eight wings which came up to 22 dollars! And they were big bulky pieces of chicken. Definitely worth the whole experience. Yes, I would order from here again“
“Give it a try. Food tastes homemade, like your Polish grandma made it, or if you're not Polish and had a childhood friend who was, like that friend's mama made it. Food is made fresh every day. You can get some traditional hot Polish foods, pierogi, stuffed cabbage, kielbasa/kraut, potato pancakes, and you can get some non-traditional hot foods, Goulash, chicken cutlet...w/mashed. You can buy kielbasa and pierogis to cook yourself at a future date, and fresh sauerkraut. Lots of imported Polish goodies, and if you don't know what they are, just ask.Fresh deli meats and cheeses. Try a sandwich!Extremely friendly owner, working hard to earn your dollar. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy.“
“These soups are quite tasty! There's always a line outside, even when it's freezing outside in the thick of winter. Not just me, but I've noticed that people queue up for this soup nonstop, and they have a fantastic service system in place. A+“
“I have ordered from this place a couple of times and on both occasions the food didn't disappoint.Tasty sandwiches and fresh salads. So far I haven't found anything that I didn't like. The only issue is the service, sometimes it is fast and sometimes it is not (30 minutes waiting after the order deadline). Thankfully the quality is never compromised.“
“Was in the mood for some seafood, I live in Bayonne so decided to try this place. My girl and I, decided to check it out and eat there. Seafood is best fresh, so that’s what we did. First thing we noticed, the gentleman helping us ( seemed like the owner) made sure the table to was not only clean, but sanitized. This isn’t your average restaurant, it’s a quaint spot only two tables available. More of a takeout vibe.He was very kind and accommodating. We ordered the fish and chips and some fried shrimp! The fish and chips were fresh and good. It was whiting, I would have preferred cod fish, but, it was still good!!! The shrimp were on the salty side but AMAZING. We enjoyed it so much we already made plans to go back again within the month!!“
“I wish it was more comfortable for inside seating. The OWNER, his son and team members were very nice. I think they were Spanish but their Italian food was good. It was clean and affordable. I will be going back to try more items. I had eggplant parm sandwich. Almost as good as grandma'“
“I used to love this place. I wonder if they’re still opened. I went on a Sunday afternoon. Sign on door said closed. Two weeks later I called on a Saturday because I didn’t want to take the drive to find out they’re closed. No answer at all. I called several times. If you’re still opened please get it together. I miss this place.Update: ok I gave it another try. They were open and I had the best vegan broth. Now the immunity is my second favorite. Thanks for getting it together ???“
“The delicious black bean soup is loaded with flavorful veggies that have a delightful crunch to them, and just enough lime that you know it's in there. I turned mine from vegan to vegetarian with a little Cotija cheese. And that's lunch!“
“My colleagues and I had a really excellent lunch meeting here. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and nice. The food was absolutely delicious, specifically the peanut dressing on the salad. I had the pineapple noodles with tofu and it was absolutely delicious. highly “
“Fresh food and amazing staff. We were looking for a new spot for some street food (tacos) and we were half we tried this place. Warm welcome when we came in we ordered the Beef Nachos they were stacked high and the beef very tender. For the mains a spicy shrimp and buttermilk chicken taco all were amazing as you can see by the pictures. We had homemade key lime pie and bread pudding for dessert and they did not disappoint. We spoke to the owner a very nice man and he comes up with weekly specials posted on Instagram. Place is also BYOB. We will be backParking: Parking in the rear“
“IM COMING BACK, the young lady at the counter was so sweet!! I got a chicken salad that I haven’t tried yet because I’m busy inhaling the crab corn soup, and a strawberry lemonade punch. Everything is VERY GOOD!!!!! I’m very critical of food because not everyone is clean and not every place can cook but this place has it all. The only thing I’d say is to add way more options for ingredients (pesto grilled chicken, kale, boiled eggs, etc)“
“A great Jewish deli with the usual enormous pastrami and corned beef sandwiches. Great for breakfast and lunch (haven’t tried dinner yet) and the service is very good. They offer takeout as well as indoor dining but be sure to check the deli area for great specials and treats.“
“Say word... Please say word. I'm from Newark and it's only 2 Soup spots... Heavenly Delight on Elizabeth Ave that closes soon as there soup run out and that's normally by 9-9:30 Then there's the Soup Factory Yessss the Soup Factory yummy amazing. Go try for ya self..“
“This is our go to every Friday night! Food is always fresh and hot. My preference is general tsos shrimp. Large portion for two meals. Others like the shrimp with lobster sauce and chicken fingers with French fries. Good delivery and friendly service“
“Grab and go restaurant. for a max of 7-8 people but the food is scrumptious and not too much sodium. Like spicy? They've go it for you! Just ask... My favorite right now is Dragon Noodles without the chili and the coconut lemongrass soup. Yummmmm “
“Went to Roberto’s for the first time today. Ordered the Italian Wedding soup and potato soup the boneless chicken wings homemade chocolate chip cookies and brownies. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was great. Joseph helped me he was so helpful and patient since I was a newby and couldn’t decide what to get, everything looked amazing. Will definitely be returning.“
“My favorite Chinese restaurant in St. George. Nice food and friendly service. I believe they saved my life from starving death couple of times! :DIf you don't know what to order (and ready to trust me, and I'm just a random person from the internet), I would recommend orange beef and dumplings. Also they have combination platters and lunch menu.“
“For around $100 there is no better place in NJ for a date. Portion sizes are huge, food is delicious, and wait staff is very attentive. They also have a surprisingly good dessert menu. When the place is packed it's really fun and everyone is having a good time. Get the steamed octopus for an appetizer.“
“Stumbled upon this place on the way out of Nutley. Saw a sign that says Korean bbq, and that was the seller for me. A bit dark inside. The wait staff or I guess the owner is very attentive. Food is reasonable priced and good. If you're craving Korean food I suggest you try this place.“
“Its a Nice spot if you want to feel and taste a bit of of Mexico ?? and Honduras ??!!Food was Amazing Service was appreciated and atmosphere was inviting and music playing while you eat definitely a plus! So check out La Tuna's (La Catracha) you won't be disappointed. ?????????????????“
“You’ve never experienced a taco like this before. The infusion of food from Ghana & Mexico is out of this world. Go grab you something from this food truck asap. You won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend. This is my go to spot whenever I’m working in the area. AfroTaco for the win. ??“
“When I was a kid I would wake up and have the best treat, a Haitian pate. It is a flaky piece of goodness. Unlike the Jamaican patty, the Haitian patty has a higher concentration placed on the pastry versus the meat. The meat would be either salted cod (mori) beef or chicken. Pi Bon Pate has filled my void with its wide assortment of bake goods. The quaint building sits strangely removed on the corner. Inside it looks like as if you're about to pay a parking ticket. Tucked on the side there is bar seats facing Garden State Parkway awesome view. That is if your into looking at the GSP. At another glance you will see all the baked delights. I began to speak Creole to the women behind the glass, she looked at me perplexed. She responded to me in English. Maybe my Creole is that bad! Biscuit. I remember when I was younger this place was called "BON PATE" I guess it got better moved locations in 1998 and now its PI BON PATE. To all my Jersey folks who don't feel like trekking to Brooklyn to get their Haitian goodies fix come here. Biscuit Sec, Bon Amidon, Bouillon and Soups, Bon Bon Amidon, Bouillon and Soups, Douces and Tablettes, are all served here there in process of opening their baker for lunch and dinner. All you need to know it's tasty and you probably have not had these patties hit your taste buds yet. Most non-Haitians believe the food is very spicy. Correction, it is mildly spicy usually the spice is added on the side. Be a daredevil and go for it.“
