“The salad is always fresh and it's nice that changes can be made to the salads shown. Every now and then you want to spice things up, or take it down a notch or so, and it's good that that is allowed. Dressings are plentiful and always fresh too. The salads can be turned into a Wrap or a warm Grain Bowl. It's a great place to get a great meal and without getting over stuffed.“

“Haven’t been to Panera in awhile. This location was awesome! The staff came over a few times to see if everything was good, and when the GM saw I didn’t finish my soup, she asked me if everything was okay with it. I had mentioned that the salad that I had gotten was so good and that I had finished it. There was just not enough room for me to finish the soup. She went and got me soup to take home! I thought that was just the nicest thing!!! I appreciated it so much and it made my day!“

“Excellent, kinda under the radar spot. Found this by personal recommendation, not by any ABSOLUTE BEST EVER or TOP 25 PLACES TO LINE UP ALL NIGHT AT sort of list. Though they have earned some well deserved recognition I since learned.
Great food and perfect sake recommendation. Ginger dressing house salad was fresh and lively. XO grits were as rich and complex of a comfort food as you could hope for. Trout, bluefin, and wagyu nigiri all well prepared, high quality meats with delicate seasoning.“

“Good ramen and a unique experience sitting in a booth. Even though there's only one ramen available (tonkotsu) you can customize it expensively to match your taste. I love tonkotsu, and this is a solid tonkotsu ramen. Be careful of when you go because the line tends to be very long since it's so popular.“

“Divine lobster bisque with some bread, a peach and a mint for $13. Take to the park and have a lovely time! Turns out this place where the writers for Seinfeld were inspired by. Makes sense since Larry David lived in Hell's Kitchen for a while and it was that neighborhood that inspired him for Seinfeld. Either way, they have multiple signs in different languages letting you know how to order efficiently. It's know what you want to order, have cash or payment ready to go quickly and step to the left after ordering. I went in for lunch after working in my office in Midtown so wasn't too bad around 1 pm but I'm sure it can get busy at times. 5 Minute walk to Central Park so eat there!

“My husband and I get takeout from here A LOT. The quality and freshness is top notch even after it gets delivered. Each nigiri piece is quite simple with a small pinch of shiso, yuzu, or truffle toppings that’s matched perfectly with the fish flavor profile. They also offer a compote-like bowl featuring uni, caviar, shrimp, and tuna, delivering an extraordinary explosion of flavors in every bite“

“Came for dinner with a group of Chinese friends. Food is good but not what I would called Sichuan. I can recommend the Sautéed pea shoots, Peking duck w soup, Cucumber salad and the Mapo tofu. I CANNOT recommend the grilled fish, it was terrible.
The decor is honestly bizarre, as my friend put it, a mahjong factory. Service was ok, but dishes were slow to be served.“

“The food was delicious!!!! A friend told me that it would be very spicy, but I didn’t find it to be so. (Definitely had a zip to it but not too extreme) Service was attentive and pleasant. The only downside was the seating. The chairs were more like elementary school short stools. Quite uncomfortable, but I’d definitely go back just for the food!“

“This spot compared to the other healthy food places is def less salty (because it won’t be healthy food if there’s too much sodium ). The bowls are delish, I would have given it 5 stars ⭐️ if only the veggies were less salty, could use salt reduction to ensure the health factor of the meal. New York restaurants have a salt problem this is why we turn to healthy spots like this one!“

“This is a must try! The restaurant is very clean and new. The hostess and staff are very kind and happy to accommodate your requests. I had an appetizer and entree. The seafood was fresh and tender, the herbs making the soup broth made an exceptional flavor. This restaurant is working hard to get a good reputation and as far as one in my neighborhood I not only recommend with no hesitation but I will be coming back here as one of my weekly staples! Bravo Grata Thai!! Keep up your excellent art of cuisine.

“Caravan Uyghur Cuisine, conveniently located near Wall Street, is a delightful spot that showcases the rich flavors and unique offerings of authentic Uyghur cuisine. My recent visit was nothing short of spectacular, as I indulged in some of their standout dishes: Uyghur Laghman, Big Plate Chicken (大盘鸡), and Lamb Kebabs.
Starting with the Uyghur Laghman, I was immediately struck by the perfect balance of handmade noodles and rich, flavorful broth. The dish is generously topped with tender chunks of lamb, allowing its rich flavor to shine through, all complemented by a medley of fresh vegetables and aromatic spices that transported my taste buds straight to Central Asia. The texture of the noodles was impeccable, providing a delightful chew that complemented the savory sauce beautifully.
Next up was the Big Plate Chicken, a visually stunning dish that lived up to its name. Served on top of a bed of noodles, the chicken pieces were cooked to perfection, boasting a delightful crunch on the outside while remaining juicy and tender on the inside. The noodles soaked up the rich, savory sauce, creating an amazing combination of flavors that made each bite even more enjoyable. The robust flavors, combined with potatoes and chili peppers, created a harmonious blend that was both spicy and savory. It was impossible not to share this dish, as it was a feast for the eyes and the palate.
Lastly, the Lamb Kebabs were the perfect finishing touch to my meal. Grilled to perfection, these kebabs had a wonderful char that enhanced the rich flavor of the lamb. The combination of cumin, chili powder, and other unique Uyghur spices provided a tantalizing kick that made each bite deliciously satisfying. These kebabs made for a truly flavorful experience.
It’s also worth noting that Caravan Uyghur Cuisine is a halal restaurant, making it a great choice for those looking for delicious halal options.
Overall, Caravan Uyghur Cuisine is a gem that offers an authentic taste of Uyghur culture. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great spot for both casual meals and special occasions. The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to explore the delicious and diverse world of Uyghur cuisine!“

“I very rarely write google reviews but I have to do one for Cuffie Ridge because the food and vibes are absolutely unmatched. They make the spice mix for their golden milk latte in-house and it’s the best golden milk I’ve ever had! The açaí bowls and Jamaican patties are delicious. And the folks who work there are so positive and fun. Great food for vegans and non-vegans alike! If you’re looking for a sign to go to Cuffie Ridge, this is it!“

“My first time going there with my sister and the owner and staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful. They were patient and even let us sample a couple of their various sauces they offered on the menu (homemade too). Now as for the food… amazing!!! Always fresh, always hot, and always delicious. The Potato Bon Bombs are delicious and the fried zucchini is too!!They don’t let you leave unhappy or hungry, def adding to my list Ironbound food gems. Also, extremely decent prices. Coming back to try their bone-in wings. I always walk past this place and decided to try on a whim and glad I did. Try and come here for a lunch if you can, hey serve you quickly and like 10 min walk from Newark Penn.

“Amazing new omakase place. Very happy that we have this spot in the UES.
The interior is immaculate. I love the clean wood paneling. Definitely sit at the counter if you have the option; you get to see the masters at work. The service was impeccable as well, everyone was friendly and attentive. They were super accommodating towards me, as I don't personally like uni, so they made substitutions for salmon, mackerel, and caviar (whatever would work best for that course) so I was very happy.
My partner and I have been to omakase all around the city, but we were blown away. They had the best scallop I had ever had, and the best yellowtail, and probably the best sea bream as well. Everything was excellent. We had trouble picking a favorite, but ended up ordering an extra scallop nigiri for each of us.
Highly recommended Shihou!“

“It's a small counter top only dining place. If you're not comfortable with the possibility of sitting shoulder to shoulder with strangers, this isn't the place for you. But, if you can muster up some tolerance, you'll experience a quaint comfort meal.
Cold day? Gomtang. Raining and cold day? Gomtang. Feeling sick? Gomtang. Want something light, clean and refreshing? Gomtang.
For any situation their gomtang is there for you. While it is a bit pricey (30+ for gomtang, a drink and Mandoo). I think it is worth it to just try it.“

“Their food is excellent and inexpensive (compared to other NYC restaurants). We ordered Shan Noodle and Burmese Pancake - both were delicious! Would love to try their other dishes in future! Location is also very good. However, you have to pay in cash and they do not accept cards or any other forms of payment. Although they have put a sign board indicating they only accept cash, we only noticed the board after ordering our food. There is a ATM nearby but I felt it is very inconvenient in these days and age.“

“The ramen is to die for.. absolutely love it.
The vegan ramen has spinach noodles so it’s healthier?? Tastes almost the same and I can’t tell if it’s spinach.
They serve it with a fried tofu which is sweet. Took me some getting used to but I love it now“

“Dare I say it... some of the best soup in NYC? The counter service is quick, courteous and professional. The soup selection filled with 6-8 classics. They all taste exactly as they should, consistently every day. The Moroccan Lamb Stew is a personal favorite of mine and I highly recommend it.If you're a tourist on a budget (or otherwise) and the weather is cool enough for soup, do not deny yourself some of the best lunch in the neighborhood. “Linguine alle vongole was one of the least tasty one and that's the only dish I order at Italian restaurants. Unfortunately it didn't taste much. I had to add Parmesan, pepper, and red pepper flakes to make it taste something.
The bolognese was okay, better than linguine but not the star of the night either.
The special of the day of salmon carpaccio was good and different twist on the classic beef.
Our waiter was very good. The ambiance is also good - definitely a good place for a date night.“

“I have been coming here for years. I finally got to take my youngest daughter. At first she wasn’t sure about the place since you have to walk down a small flight of stairs to a small basement restaurant. We sat down and once she saw the food coming out of the kitchen she was excited. The food was exactly as I remembered. Great place for no frills Chinese food. You also are in a perfect spot to explore the rest of Chinatown and Little Italy. Remember Wo Hop only accepts cash ??“

“I’ve been to many Sushi restaurants specifically omakase and this was by far the best that I’ve had. The sushi was delicious! The combination of flavors and balance was perfect! The Uni is a favorite of mine so creamy and sweet! This place is as authentic as I’ve ever seen. Staff was friendly and service immaculately! The price for omakase is very reasonable for the amount of food you get and the size of the sushi was not small at all. I indulged a bit myself and do not regret it one bit. “Just like there is no place like home, there isn't a restaurant quite like the Soup Maison. Delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and phenomenal workers (both in and out of the kitchen) -- what more could be asked for? The tomato tortellini soup, buffalo chicken empanadas, and Nelly's Delight can't be found the same anywhere else! Fair Lawn locals are lucky to have such a spot nearby.
