My daughter chose this for a birthday dinner. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was fantastic. Audrey was our server. She was extremely knowledgeable of the menu, made great recommendations, she was there when we needed her without being there too often. I would highly recommend Rosella Sushi. Can’t wait to get back to New York City and return for a meal here. It also makes it extra cool when Chef Jeff is wearing a Florida Gator hat!
I don’t have a single bad thing to say about this place. Food? Perfect. Staff? Lovely. Augustus was such an angel. Not only did he help us through every step of the ordering process, we watched him interact with a fellow employee who was being trained, and the gentle and kind way that he corrected and taught, made me a forever fan of this place. Seems like there’s real leadership behind the scenes. Well done, Rosella.
Ughhhhh Rosella never misses. This is my favorite restaurant in NYC. The food, wine/sake and service is all such a great time. And I love the local sourcing! Everything is thoughtfully curated and the attention to detail in this small chef-owned restaurant is crazy. Definitely get the salmon avocado roll and the shrimp nigiri. I can’t recommend enough!!!
