“I had the egusi with pounded yam and the jollof rice with beef and plantains, and everything was delicious. The food tasted like a home-cooked meal—fresh, flavorful, and made with care.
The owners showed warm and friendly hospitality. If you're looking for authentic, west African food— I recommend paying Asanka Local a visit.“

“Fatu’s kitchen did not disappoint! I had the potato greens with rice and my hubby had Jollof rice with chicken. The food was very tasty and hot. Our server was patient and polite and the restaurant was decent, and a lot bigger than how it looks from the outside.“

“Visiting and craving delicious authentic Nigerian food? This is the place to be. We ordered the amala-ewedu-gbegiri with assorted meat option, it was tasty and quite flavourful. Ordered additional menu items for take out. There is free parking along the street. Servers respectful and service didn’t take long. Highly recommended.“
“Actually, I'm originally from Kenya and I like West African food; I stumbled on this place by accident, the word Buffet meant something to me, I decided to check it out, little did I know that it's an African cuisine; Gad and her mom were very nice to me, I picked all types of food on the Buffet to carry home into my fridge. The food is GREAT, Togo and Ghanaian food Gad said, the service is GREAT, very friendly people; at the end of eating a little taste of it, I forgot my important documents in there; that means the food was just too good until I lost my memory for a bit. Gad is real great in interacting with customers, like daughter like mom. I'll go back to pick upbmy documents and eat some more. I give it 5 star in all categories, you should check it out asap. “Yummy & just enough spice. I will definitely be back!“
“Ordered through Uber Eats and the food was fresh and tasty. I think it’s the best in the neighborhood so far and I’m happy to see a west African restaurant on this side of town. My husband enjoyed then jollof rice and chicken and I enjoyed the egusi soup with fufu. We love west African food so this is a huge plus. The food was fantastic!“

“Been here a few times. Maybe the people too lazy to come inside a restaurant to eat need to stop complaining about their orders. If you want something quick go to a fast food. If you want quality then you need to learn some patience. When ordering inside the restaurant Mr. Benson really takes his time. He even had brought our fresh cut watermelon while we waited. His food portions are huge. You get great service when you sit to eat! Food is tasty and cannot complain.

“I’m a jamaican who loves African food dearly. I love the culture and food as a whole. A friend of mine recently switched jobs so I can no longer get the authenticity any more of the food. But i heard of this place from a friend and decided to try because i was craving saki with egusi and pounded yam. Food was absolutely amazing, just the right amount of spice in my book and the meat was very tender which i loved. You can tell they cleaned the meat very well as it had no smell to it. I can’t even express my enjoyment for the food. My only disappointment is that I ordered the saki, beef, and chicken and instead of getting the saki i got two pieces of meat. But other than that i had a good experience with this place. Also keep in mind i ordered this food from uber eats and the food took 40-50 minutes to get to me and the food was still amazing warm and hot. That’s a plus for me“

“As soon as we walked in we felt welcome, woman asked us if it was our first time, sat us down gave us menus she was so sweet, I wasn’t sure weather or not to get chicken or beef with my egusi soup, she offered both… I was nervous at first to try it but it was all top tier. By far the best chicken I’ve had in a very long time and the fufu and egusi was divine“
