So I was looking for a place to get fufu and google a few places. This one was one of the best rated so I decided to give it a try. First and foremost the restaurant was clean, and the lady that was in the front not sure if she's the owner but she was absolutely amazing. Got the fufu decided to get both the plantain and regular fufu. Honestly, the food was great the chicken was delicious and crispy she recommended the sauce and chicken I enjoyed it very much.
I don't know about anyone eslse.. but this food and the ppl were sooo great! Can't ever use the words "tasteless" or no "flavor". Granted everyone may not be as adventurous with their taste buds, but this was My first time having West African food outside of what my husband and his family serves. It was sooooooo good! It had color flavor and ample servings. The Joloff rice was ?... I had that with chicken and the baked lamb. If you are in Newark, NJ and looking for a belly full...read full review
