This is a wonderful restaurant. The food is great and the owner is extremely friendly and respectful. Doordash orders are very fast. One of my favorite African restaurant in Newark.
I enjoyed my food here. I ordered the pounded yam & egusi soup (melon seeds) with stewed chicken. The soup was flavorful and the chicken was delicious! My mom ordered jollof rice and stewed chicken as well as the chicken gizzards which was also good. Good is okay. The soup that I got was salty. I say too salty. It’s my second time coming here but it was just too salty. Also the meat smelled a little. It was dark and it felt that they didn’t clean it well enough. I am not planning to come back to this place. Of course everyone’s experience is different but definitely not planning to come to this place.
