“I have had two bridal showers at Portofino in Oak Ridge, and not only did everyone love the food, but Nancy and the entire staff is outstanding. They go above and beyond to help you in any capacity that they can. I highly recommend Portofino either for lunch, dinner or any kind of event you have whether it is big or small. You can't go wrong with Portofino, I can't say enough great things about the staff and restaurant!”

“Ordered the margarita pizza and it was horrible. Never had raw garlic on a pizza and the tomato was just clumped on and not even cut open. It was also burned and I ended up throwing it away. What a waste of 16. - never again”

“Came for dinner with another couple. The tapas eggplant was delicious, light and flavorful. Just lovely. We had two burgers and two steaks. All delicious and perfectly cooked. Service was excellent and the restaurant is beautiful, however, there is a huge bar in the middle of the restaurant. Which normally would not be an issue but this evening four young women were “working” the older men sitting at the bar. It became clear as the evening progressed that this was going on. None of us could believe what was happening right next to our table!! As the targeted men left the bar the young women quickly moved on to their next victims. It was all very obvious and pretty repulsive. Such a shame to have this type of thing happening in a lovely restaurant. I would hope management will be alerted by the bartenders that their establishment has become prey for this type of behavior. Quite unsettling.”

“This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. The price is great and the portions seem generous. The people are always polite and working hard cranking out orders.”

“Best pizza around! I used to work at an award winning pizza place and since moving to Oak Ridge have not found pizza that I love until Pintos. (I'm picky) BUT not only is the pizza good but the guy (who I think is the owner) making the pizzas is SO friendly. Always has a smile and makes sure to say hello and goodbye to everyone.”

“This place has old-style class and it’s reminiscent of “The Freeze” that I grew up with. The flavors are delicious and the service was good. There was no line when I got there. Parking was easy.

My only problem is with the texture of the chocolate malt milkshake I got. It happens over and over when a place makes a malt with soft-serve ice cream. The whole thing takes on a homogenized version of itself like it’s melted. Why not dip a few scoops of the good stuff and make a real malt (the reason is the cost of the ice cream). But I would pay more if it didn’t sit in my gut and bloat.

“This place has an interesting variety. The bread, however, is an additional $4 charge and NOT wirth it. Four slider rolls. The rest of the menu is interesting and the service was great.”

“After reviewing some of the bad reviews I noticed that most of them are a year or older. I have eat in and take out at this location several times and the food is always tasty hot and fresh. The decor is beautiful and love the fireplace aroma. It's not very common to find an establishment this clean and neat. Definitely coming back love their lunch specials”

“A group of my friends and I were looking for a place to eat outside by the water before we all went out back to our different homestates after a weekend vacation together. This place was perfect, with a large outdoor area. We were initially concerned about the very loud live music playing because we wanted to be able to relax and have good conversations, but they were able to seat us farther away from it which worked out well. A huge bonus is that the outdoor area is completely dog friendly- our waitress even brought out a water bowl for each dog!
Service was fairly prompt and attentive. Food was generally tasty. We shared the maple garlic chicken wings appetizer and enjoyed them. I got the chicken tacos which I loved. I do not handle spiciness at all and they were safe for me and delicious! My boyfriend had the chicken tenders basket and shared his fries with me, which I also enjoyed. A friend also particularly loved the donut alcoholic cider from a local cidery. I think the only thing not enjoyed was one friend who got the 5 cheese Burger. There was something about the taste of the burger that he really didn't care for. My boyfriend tried it and said the best way he could describe it was that the meat tasted more gamey than a usual burger.
Overall though a very positive experience with a beautiful view!”

“Absolutely the best Jamaican food around. I would say on par with Scotchies in Jamaica. Wonderful Caribbean vibe. We ordered a mix for the table and not one dish disappointed. Fall off bone ribs. Great jerk sauce and hot as hell boda pepper sauce”

“We had our small wedding at Andre's this past weekend, and I am still in awe of how fantastic the event was. Tracey is an all-star. From coordinating calls, decorating our table, marrying us, to keeping us on schedule. Andre had our whole group raving about how great the food was. From the appetizers to the cake, we really couldn't have asked for better. On top of it all, the location is STUNNING! The staff helping to serve us were so friendly and pleasant and together they all helped make sure our wedding day was the best day of our life. I can't recommend Andre's enough, and we will certainly be returning for a meal!”

“Beautiful decor on the inside. Restaurant gets busy so make reservation just in case! Had dinner Monday night and Ashley was amazing. The sake warrior is like a limey summer refresher. Just with a little twist. Really good! Shrimp dumplings are so bomb, as well as the sesame chicken and glass noodle. Great service.”

“The food here is PERFECT!! We had such a wonderful meal on our first night at Lake Hopatcong that we wanted to come back a second night. I wish we had because no where else was as good as Byram Bay. The pierogies, chicken and seafood were all fantastic. I didn’t see that there is a water view here but honestly it’s not even worth going to the water view places that have sub par food when you can come here and have the best meal.”
