“I have had two bridal showers at Portofino in Oak Ridge, and not only did everyone love the food, but Nancy and the entire staff is outstanding. They go above and beyond to help you in any capacity that they can. I highly recommend Portofino either for lunch, dinner or any kind of event you have whether it is big or small. You can't go wrong with Portofino, I can't say enough great things about the staff and restaurant!”

“Came for dinner with another couple. The tapas eggplant was delicious, light and flavorful. Just lovely. We had two burgers and two steaks. All delicious and perfectly cooked. Service was excellent and the restaurant is beautiful, however, there is a huge bar in the middle of the restaurant. Which normally would not be an issue but this evening four young women were “working” the older men sitting at the bar. It became clear as the evening progressed that this was going on. None of us could believe what was happening right next to our table!! As the targeted men left the bar the young women quickly moved on to their next victims. It was all very obvious and pretty repulsive. Such a shame to have this type of thing happening in a lovely restaurant. I would hope management will be alerted by the bartenders that their establishment has become prey for this type of behavior. Quite unsettling.”

“We love it at The Windlass! Although it's doesn't have the atmosphere other restaurants in the lake have, we love the food, the people and the drinks. My personal favorites are the pizza, Chicken Parmesan with vodka sauce and the Berry Cosmo. We love Nancy and Frank, at the bar, and rarely sit at a table. We love coming here to change up our dining experience and highly recommend you considering the experience! It's great off season and even better in season! Enjoy!”

“Ordered the margarita pizza and it was horrible. Never had raw garlic on a pizza and the tomato was just clumped on and not even cut open. It was also burned and I ended up throwing it away. What a waste of 16. - never again”

“Tonight me and my fiancé ordered dinner from here. I got wonton soup because i wasn't that hungry and ended up eating the whole container. Hands down the BEST wonton soup I’ve ever had. I even called to compliment them, and i don’t think I’ve ever done that. It was that good. My fiancé also said he agrees it’s the best Chinese food he’s ever had.”

“After reviewing some of the bad reviews I noticed that most of them are a year or older. I have eat in and take out at this location several times and the food is always tasty hot and fresh. The decor is beautiful and love the fireplace aroma. It's not very common to find an establishment this clean and neat. Definitely coming back love their lunch specials”

The owners were incredibly attentive and genuinely great people, which really showed in the level of care and hospitality throughout the event. If you’re looking for a place to host a private event or banquet, The Jefferson House is an excellent choice.”

“We had our small wedding at Andre's this past weekend, and I am still in awe of how fantastic the event was. Tracey is an all-star. From coordinating calls, decorating our table, marrying us, to keeping us on schedule. Andre had our whole group raving about how great the food was. From the appetizers to the cake, we really couldn't have asked for better. On top of it all, the location is STUNNING! The staff helping to serve us were so friendly and pleasant and together they all helped make sure our wedding day was the best day of our life. I can't recommend Andre's enough, and we will certainly be returning for a meal!”

“The Great Wazu is the reason small businesses are the HEART of a community. I am a soon-to-be small business owner myself. I walked in this place tonight like I do every 1-2 weeks to get dinner. Sara behind the counter has gotten to know me and ALWAYS remembers my order. Tonight, she asked me what was new, and I told her I had been upset all day worrying about all the stuff I have on my plate right now getting my business ready to open. She was the sweetest. When I reached for my credit card, she told me my order was on her and gave me a hug and said, "You got this." It was one of the most human experiences I've ever had, and I just want everyone to know how special this place is. It's not just the sandwiches. It's the kindness.”

“The confetti cake cookie was the best thing that ever happened to me, the best cookie I have ever taste in my entire life span. I was around the area and I thought that crumbl cookie was a good option to get for dessert, and saw that soft rich frosting on the beautiful cookie on this weeks cookies. I knew I was going to enjoy this heaven sent cookie once I arrived home. I got a giant glass of milk and took a bite of the pink confetti sprinkled dessert and instantly fell in love. My mouth violently watered with joy as my teeth sunk into the velvety frosting of the cookie of my dreams, and then bit into the sugar cookie base which was just as delightful as the pink vanilla cream cheese frosting. As my eyes lit up with joy, my teeth were automatically chewing down on the cookie, and it couldn’t stop myself even if I wanted to. I closed my eyes and imagined the perfect dessert. sugar cookie, Rich pink frosting,and confetti sprinkles to top it off. Sounds amazing. Once I opened my eyes, I gazed at the cookie with love as I chomped down on the dessert once again. It was December 6th, 2025, and now that February has sprouted, I will once again, purchase the best thing that has ever happened to me.”
