Labor Day weekend lunch. No resi, and two seated at high top in the bar, almost immediately. Most excellent. So whatever heck happened to the quality of the food? Hot chicken sandwich- anything but hot, zero flavor and definitely a pre-breaded previously frozen chicken patty. Wish it was a chicken breast. What happened to the excellent sushi chef in the back, near the pizza?

Have been here one other time earlier in the year with a reservation. It was alright. Tried to go again recently and was told we couldn’t be seated because they were all booked up for a party that wouldn’t happen for another two hours from the time we walked in the door. Place was empty, open tables everywhere, but you can’t sit us because you have reservations two hours from now? Did not appreciate me and my family being turned away on such a flimsy excuse.
So we went to Alice’s across the street. Food was great, service was wonderful, amazing view of the Lake AND they sat us at a table despite having a reservation booked for, you guessed it, two hours from when we walked in the door.

Great atmosphere and service. Perfect spot for a dinner night out. There's a rich history behind the area that everyone will enjoy, and restaurant set up creates an authentic experience.

We were there multiple times a few years back and loved it.
After returning recently, we didn’t like the roof enclosure that they added outside. It was a beautiful day and we were looking forward to sitting outside. But it wasn’t as pleasant and we might as well have been seated inside. Most of the windows were closed as well so it felt closed in and limited the view of the lake. The service was slow.

Restaurantji Recommends
Two older women seated at the front were unfortunately quite unwelcoming. We had a reservation for eight people, and on short notice, a small child joined our group. When we politely asked to add one more chair to the corner table, their reaction was unnecessarily dramatic—almost as if we were making an unreasonable demand. It felt discriminatory, and I couldn’t help but sense it was influenced by my ethnicity. There was clearly enough space to accommodate an extra chair or two. As for the food, it was mediocre at best. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend visiting this place.

Food was on point, The Tower appetizer would be better if the eggplant was fried, and crispy though. The outdoor area overlooking the lake was beautiful on a summer evening.
The outdoor seating isn't particularly comfortable, and it get a bit loud. Still, it was an enjoyable dinner.

I have been eyeing this place ever since I went to the restaurant next door.
This is a wonderful spot. You can dine-in inside or outside. There is also an area to lounge and sit that views the lake. I also like the fact there boats to rent attached to the place.
The food was great. The service was good. Love the house drink 🍸 they have. I would definitely would return and highly recommend who wants to eat at a restaurant next to the lake.

My first time here and the food was great! The atmosphere inside is really nice and they play good music. The mushroom ravioli, charcuterie and lamb lollipop were all fantastic! We went at night on a cold day; but, we plan to go back in the summer or maybe lunch to catch views of the lake. I would definitely recommend!
