It was lovely. I did expect to see the outdoor seating under the sun, but it is under a roof with 3 sides open. This is my fault for not enough research and not a reflection of the restaurant. Still, the view is beautiful and the food is good. I would recommend it.
We celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary today at the Windlass. Everything was fantastic!!!! The food and service was exceptional. Ask for Joe to serve you. He is a gem. There was only one downside and that was the chocolate martinis. When I first ordered it came with whipped creme, chocolate shavings and syrup coating the bottom of the glass. After dinner I recommended we all get one. When the 3 came it didn't have whipped creme or shavings. It was just blah. I asked about...
We enjoy this restaurant very much and frequent it often, but since having a baby, we have been very disappointed in the lack of stroller accessibility to the outside patio. We come often with the stroller and there has been times it’s only one of us coming in first with the stroller, and there’s no help or easy access getting the stroller on the patio. Hostesses have just looked us while we struggled carrying the stroller down the stairs. Disappointing and curious what they...
