Casual brunch spot in Jersey City. The only place I could find that opened before 11AM. I think the atmosphere is better when it’s warm and you can sit outside.Place doesn’t really have any character, but the food was very good. They have brunch drink specials for $5 or $10 for a double. My friend and I both ordered Prosecco and chicken n waffles. Prosecco was $12/glass.Food was excellent. They also brought us some kind of muffin with jam which was a nice touch.

Amelia's is your quintessential neighborhood brunch spot. I wont' say the food is the best in town, but the cozy, homey atmosphere and familiar faces are! I wandered here with a friend early on a Saturday morning. I went ahead and made reservations online about 30 mins before coming in, but I don't think that the reservations were necessary. Upon being seated, we ordered a pitcher of mimosa. They let us choose the juice, so we went with Mango. After we were finished, the server actually topped it off with champagne again to not wait the extra leftover mango juice! So kind! I went with the Amelia's Club Omelete. The french toast and potatoes were 10/10. The omelete itself was very subpar. I requested some hot sauce and they brought over the chiptole kind. Without me even saying anything, the manager came by with the hottest sauce they had (exactly what I was looking for). I appreciated this gesture so much! Overall, such a wonderful time at brunch. It's a solid, locally owned establishment!

The foods:Fresh DIY hummus: it may be complementary with each table. they give you a mortar and pestle filled with chick peas with their recipe ready to be crushed along with some fresh rolls. I definitely enjoyed making my own hummus.Apps: Guac & Chips and Calamari were delicious and fresh! I’m usually pretty particular about the flavors for both apps and to nail a GOOD guacamole AND calamari was already impressive.Drinks: Peach, Mango and Frosted Rosemary + Sorel Margaritas were all very good, Frosted Rosemary being my favorite of the three.Flatbread with Potato, fresh ricotta and bacon was flavorful and the cheese was basically melting with each bite.Fajita Tuesday, I ordered the Carne Asada type fajita and of course you expect a good portion for the meal, and I received a FULL plate. Overall delicious, and although the steak was a little tough, it wasn’t unbearable and once you have it combined with the salsa and sour cream and beans, it softens up.I came here on a Tuesday evening after randomly choosing this restaurant based on the menu options. It was a quiet and intimate setting, spacious seating, and they offer a variety of specials throughout the week including Live Jazz on Thursday nights (will come back for that). The servers were polite and attentive, seated us promptly and gave us a few minutes to review the menu before taking our order. Our waitress recommended excellent options and the bartender of the night was on point with the margarita ingredient proportions (not overly sour/sweet). I was happy with my experience overall and will be returning on a different night to see what the vibes are throughout the week.Vegetarian options: I had the Guac + Chips and the complementary fresh DIY Hummus was provided.

Bland overpriced disappointment. If you just glance at the pizza you get a chill of trypophobia.

I’ve been here for brunch, lunch & dinner many times. It’s my go-to when friends visit from out of town. The food, service and overall cozy (but spacious) ambiance are perfect. The Bistro Burger with blue cheese and a glass of red is my favorite. So good! I love that they have a live jazz band on Thursdays. Great for a date night or ladies night. Shout out to the bartender, Chris (pictured here) who serves up great service when I sit at the bar. Definitely add this place to your list!

Did price fixe on a weekday, $29 for three courses! Coconut shrimp, short rib, and key lime pie were all great. Plus free bread and hummus. Place was empty, feel bad and hope they stay in business.

I've been here a few times, and it's great, especially their brunch. It's in a cute neighborhood where you can find free on street parking, it has a diverse menu, and the food is cooked and seasoned well, drinks are good enough. Service was a little slow last time, but we had a massive party. When we had their private room downstairs, they were very accommodating.

When I saw the ambiance and decor of this restaurant I thought it couldn't get any better. That is until I tried their food. This place is one of the best restaurants I've been to in New Jersey and I will continue to be a regular customer

We had brunch on a Sunday in February. We were a party of 15 with reservations and it seemed as though they were not prepared for us. It took over 30 minutes for us to get our drinks and then our food order was taken. The food did come out rather quickly but some of it was warm and not hot. The manager replaced our initial waiter which helped speed up the service. The restaurant was also a little crowded so it was hard for everyone to get around. The food was tasty. We had chicken and waffles, apple sausage gravy and biscuits and gaucho eggs. They also had good options for mimosas and bloody marys.
