Casual brunch spot in Jersey City. The only place I could find that opened before 11AM. I think the atmosphere is better when it’s warm and you can sit outside.Place doesn’t really have any character, but the food was very good. They have brunch drink specials for $5 or $10 for a double.My friend and I both ordered Prosecco and chicken n waffles. Prosecco was $12/glass.Food was excellent. They also brought us some kind of muffin with jam which was a nice touch.
Amelia's is your quintessential neighborhood brunch spot. I wont' say the food is the best in town, but the cozy, homey atmosphere and familiar faces are! I wandered here with a friend early on a Saturday morning. I went ahead and made reservations online about 30 mins before coming in, but I don't think that the reservations were necessary.
