This location is our favorite weekend spot to hit up. The staff is theeee best 11/10 service we have ever received. Anfferny’s drinks are the tastiest in downtown JC. Karla, Mel, and Mike always greet us with genuine kindness as soon walk in the door. They all care about making sure our orders are perfect every time. All four of them are incredible people and the reason we keep coming as often as we do. They deserve a raise!!!
We had Mike as our server and he was simply the best. He gave us amazing recommendations on the sake (we agree that Beautiful Lily is the best -- light fruity and refreshing), as well as the food. We ordered:
Karaage Bao buns: so crispy, tender, and delicious;
Short Rib Ramen: the broth was so rich, the meat was cooked perfectly;
Waygu Tan Tan Ramen: so rich and umami -- highly recommend by Mike and I agree!
Can't wait to visit here again

not only was the food amazing, our server mel was super accommodating and made our experience one of a kind. we need more mels in this world !!!! we also got a round of free shots to compensate for waiting a small while for a reservation we made which was very nice and greatly appreciated. thank you ani, i cant wait to come back to try everything else !!
