The service it the worst I like food but service it 0
This cafe is located in the same building where I live, and as a racially Indian customer, I have consistently felt unwelcome here. Whenever I walk in, the previously cheerful demeanor of the staff changes immediately, laughing baristas suddenly become stoic and stop smiling. Initially, I thought I might be imagining it, but after speaking with other people of color in my building, I learned they’ve had similar experiences.
The difference in treatment is stark. When white customers are in the cafe, the staff is noticeably polite, friendly, and warm. On multiple occasions, I’ve noticed that staff members switch to Korean and start talking about me while I’m placing my order, it’s clear they’re referencing me because these comments occur mid conversation and are clearly tied to my presence.
Today was the final straw. I went to order a latte, and the person behind the counter openly made a disparaging remark about people who can’t pronounce “latte” directly in front of me. This level of disrespect is unacceptable.
If this cafe is not open to serving people of color, it should be made clear. As a regular customer who has purchased coffee here daily, I’m extremely disappointed and will not be returning. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously to ensure a welcoming environment for all customers.
Great drink options. Their menu has changed and some of our faves are gone or changed for the worse which is a little disappointing. I still recommend this spot.

The short chubbish cashier that works most days/mornings is deceptive. Rather than admit a mistake she lies Today a new batch of coffee was brewing and instead of telling me to wait a few minutes for the brew to finish, she told the server to add hot water. It's not the first time this cashier has been deceptive. Last time I stopped ordering here for 6 months. This time I'm just going elsewhere as long as she's here. She has strong confidence but if she uses that to deceive your customers you'll loose out in the long run. The guy that worked here for the longest time was great.

I came in earlier today after 9 and the server sheilah was training another young woman, she was so beyond disrespectful and rude not only to rude to the trainee but me as well and the other customers in the restaurant. We all could hear her disrespectful and rude ways not to mention how she slammed everything in the establishment.

DO NOT! AND I MEAN DO NOT EAT AT THIS PLACE! I had their bacon egg and cheese and immediately got food poisoning the next day!

Bad coffee, worse than cheap hotels. Expensive food. Good seating, though. Employees talk to each other in their language while facing customers. Train your employees in courtesy and customer service, and teach them how to brew coffee properly.

Getting really tired of the rude attitude of the short woman working behind the counter. Rolls her eyes at customers, doesn't know how to say you're welcome. She ruins the ambiance of this place. The hot drinks also are lukewarm, much rather go to short grain down the street.
Love the pecan waffles and the veggie burger here! The place can be a bit cleaner and the staff a bit more attentive, but the food is excellent for a weekend brunch!

Ridiculously expensive; bought a small coffee and egg sandwich and it was $18.5. Can get the same items at 40% less and same quality if I just a couple blocks away.

The food is good, but the girl server with blonde hair is the worst. She doesn’t care about customers. Before she joined the service is soo good

Not very busy at 2pm. Barista was capable, but cappuccino tasted burnt. Had scone; wasn't offered butter or jam. Sat down to tables that hadn't been cleared or cleaned in a while. Clearly their heart isn't in it.

overpriced.. and not that good. Food is mediocre. Coffee is terrible. The workers are not welcoming, you could be standing right in front of them and they'll stare at you in your face and continue their conversation and come take your order when they feel like it.
You're better off going to Café Dolma, Cocoa Bakery or even Legal Grounds which is less than a 10 minute walk from this place.
Don't waste your time or money. This place sucks.
