I love the pastries and bread. But sadly the coffee and matcha here is subpar. It was poorly made and they mixed up my order. I think my drink was 90% milk... I don't think I'll ever order a drink here again, but I'll come back for the food

Went in for the first time today and the ppl working were so friendly. He mentioned that they make everything in house and work as organically as possible. He ended up giving us a free pastry. Almond croissant was fresh out the oven (amazing), the scone was perfect, jalapeño twist fire.

My absolute favorite bakery in Jersey City - not just because of the food, but because of the staff! Dana is so friendly and kind to all guests that walk in the door. Cannot recommend Bourke St enough. Pro tip: the muffins and quiche are divine!

I have been coming to Bourke Street on/off since their opening. I tried their rolls and some of their pastries. On a previous visit, I connected with one of the cashiers over a mutual interest. Today, after quite a while later… Miss Sofia remembered me! And my order!
I felt like a welcomed regular and it brought such a joy to the start of my day. Thank you for taking time out to remember me and help me sign up to get birthday rewards. We need more people like you!

They were dishonest about pricing. On the poster it says 9 for a meat pie and 8.50 for sausage roll and it rang up 9.50 and 10.50. They asked me for a ketchup and I said sure but they didn’t tell me it was also extra $$

I haven’t come across a better tasting sourdough! Love the texture. Tried the seedy sourdough and the one with fennel and currents. Both were great! And they slice it for you.
