Very slow service. Ambience is also not upto the mark. Food is OK.

The Lady was mad as he'll from the beginning we entered. Most probably Served water from tap as Bottle water as the taste was not from bottle water. Other lady was very respectful and caring. Almost 4 ladies working in the front and only about 10 customers seating, they are looking busy going inside the kitchen coming out. There are missing Spoons, cups, bowls, some food items. They were not look motivated or happy. Some items you may not consider whether to try , Goat biriyani , kulcha and few others.

Can’t believe I waited so long to try this place. The vegan Chana masala, roti and chicken tikka masala were the best I’ve had in New Jersey. It’s a cute play on Brick Lane in London. Great British south asian food. The staff were super kind when I called to confirm the Chana and roti were dairy free.

Restaurant not busy, after 1hr I asked to check on my food, 20 mins later they came back saying the ticket was lost. Food arrived promptly and was delicious. I asked for the check. 10 mins later they came back and asked if I was waiting for my check.

Guys, get your shit together!

Honestly good food. Nothing insane, not bad. It’s reliable and good. Does the job. However on a weekday with a limited crowd the wait time is just too long. I feel the employees hate their life working here.

It was my first time here but won't be my last. I had the aloo samosa & lassuni gobi which were quite good & deceptively filling,
My server Manisha was wonderful.

Delicious food and as someone with tree nut allergies I especially appreciate how knowledgeable the staff was and how accommodating they were of my allergies!

Really good Indian restaurant right off of Grove street. The inside is more spacious than you would think, and there’s a bar section, and then a nice outdoor seating area. The chicken biryani was delicious- the chicken was tender and the rice was super flavorful and a bit spicy, and it came with a nice yogurt sauce. The chicken tikka masala was also good but the curry was a bit thicker and chunkier than what I am used to. The naan was fluffy and soft, and the roti was also great although I just personally prefer naan. They serve a good portion and everything is priced fairly- I will definitely return!

You’d think it’d be hard to mess up a pickup order with only 3 items… but think again!
Also, allow for at least 15 minutes beyond your pickup window (don’t plan on any acknowledgment of it though).

Rough experience this evening.

I don't know what happened to this place…
When I came here a few years ago it was one of the best curry houses I had been too in the NY metro area. Now, a shadow of what it once was.
The positives are that the staff are very nice, attentive and also the portions are very big. Thats really about it.
The Aloo samosa had no salt, was bland. The Chicken Tikka Masalaa was terrible. No flavour at all and not even hot when served. Incredibly bland. The Naan was burnt and tasted awful, and the Paneer Bhurji was excessively flavoured far too strong. We left a good amount of our main dishes uneaten and declined to take them home.
I don’t know if they have changed ownership, or the chef but I do hope they can get somewhere near back to what they once were. But overall, extremely disappointing.

I’ve had take out from here before that was yummy but the dine in experience was really disappointing. There was a mouse inside the restaurant. We brought this up with the staff and they were shockingly callous about this. It felt like they didn’t seem to care. Didn’t eat and we left. Awful experience

Service is so so so slow-
Friendly but slow
Solid Indian cuisine with decent sized portions
Patio area could be so nice but it’s lacking in style
