Such a limited menu. The food was just tasteless and choice to order for vegetarian was so limited between appetizers and main course. Never going there again.

Tandoori chicken is filled with insane amounts of Red color (possibly red color 3), which is banned by the CDC. Food and Safety controls should inspect these kind of restaurants. I would like the admins to know that, people dont give a damn about food colors, if its tastes good and prepared healthy thats all that matters. To answer the popular question- the food doesn’t taste good, and is not authentic Indian style, its more like a mickey mouse way of preparation more like Delhi Belly style.

Terrible management—waited 1.5 hours after ordering, and they seem completely disorganized. We never received the appetizer we ordered and instead of lamb korma, they brought us fish korma, that too korma made of frozen fish.

We went to buffet today . This was my first time eating buffet in this restaurant. I have been here couple of times. The buffet here is a big fail i do not recommend buffet at all the food is just 🤮. Too sweet , not at all serving hot very bland and naans are really hard. I have a really good opinion on briklane curry house i was craving to have their buffet waited for two long months to have it but ended up not liking and we just came out in an hour. I highly recommend alakart .

A great choice for getting some high quality Indian food in the area, especially if you'd prefer to not deal with the hustle and bustle of Little India in Journal Square.

I highly recommend ordering anything from the tandoor - the tandoori chicken was perfect! And the portions are massive. I did think many of the appetizers and main dishes were quite overpriced, however.

That said, I'd definitely come back and try the rest of the menu!

Great food and service. Very disappoints. Ww have been there for lunch and dinner, and it's always been great.

Great food and super local for us. The service was a little slow and we had to ask all the time for service - it was never forth coming.

The staff were very friendly which was nice. Contrary to expectations, the food was not special. I guess I was expecting the taste of what I had in India. It tastes very Americanized.

This place is a complete joke. Charging Michelin star prices for food that’s barely worth the cost of a below-average food cart is bad enough, but the customer service? Absolutely abysmal.

Let’s start with the food: I paid a premium price, only to open my order and find portions that looked like they were rationed during a famine. The quantity was laughable—less than advertised, less than expected, less than what they serve and certainly less than what I paid for.

But the real insult is the customer service, or lack thereof. It’s been three days of trying to get a hold of their owner. Three days of unanswered calls, unreturned messages, and false promises. I even stopped by the restaurant, hoping for some resolution, only to be met by rude, untrained staff who couldn’t care less. Their apology? “We are sorry, but…” insincere, dismissive, and dripping with arrogance. Their excuse? “The manager is busy, and this isn’t the only place they run.”
Well, maybe they should focus on running one place well before expanding their mediocrity to others.

This place isn’t just overpriced—it’s all show and no substance, a scam wrapped in a pretty exterior. Save your money, save your sanity, save your self respect and take your business somewhere that actually values its customers.

Neighborhood gem. Distinctive decor. Tasty offerings with vegetarian options. Polite and efficient servers.

We had a lovely birthday dinner at Bricklane Curry House. We ate a wonderful Samosa Chaat; best I've had since visiting India. I had lamb shank roganjosh that was delicious. We also had roti that was perfectly done.

I love the food and the service is great but I felt tricked by the bill. This was really disappointing. I've come here several times without issues and wanted to introduce this place to my brother. Not sure why but we were served bottled water and later they charged $5 for each bottle of plain spring water! Not only that, I only realized too late they added gratuity on top of tip. Ended up paying ~$40+ more than I expected because of these tricky fees. Make sure to read the bill properly so you don't end up paying tip on top of gratuity.

The Lamb vindaloo was great, perfectly spiced for my taste. The Chicken tikka masala's sweetness perfectly contrasted the spices of the vindaloo.
