The staff were very friendly which was nice. Contrary to expectations, the food was not special. I guess I was expecting the taste of what I had in India. It tastes very Americanized.

We had a lovely birthday dinner at Bricklane Curry House. We ate a wonderful Samosa Chaat; best I've had since visiting India. I had lamb shank roganjosh that was delicious. We also had roti that was perfectly done.

I highly recommend ordering anything from the tandoor - the tandoori chicken was perfect! And the portions are massive. I did think many of the appetizers and main dishes were quite overpriced, however.
That said, I'd definitely come back and try the rest of the...
