One of my favorite establishments in The Heights. All of their meals feel healthy -- even the desserts. Their carrot cake is the best I have EVER tasted. Very moist and delicious. Any other carrot cake I try elsewhere pales in comparison.

I love having Busy Bee in the neighborhood but I wish they could find a way to have more affordable options. $15 for a small container of beens and greens seems excessive. Consistency is also a bit of an issue. I’ve order the same smoothie multiple times in a day and gotten very different products each time. That being said the food is always fresh and nutritious.

Very thrilled to have Busy Bee in the neighborhood and to have people starting businesses grounded in selling REAL, quality food. I have experienced a lot of quality inconsistencies when I come here through, especially with the drinks and baristas’ (un)willingness to make “off menu” or even just prior seasonal items that they do have the ingredients on hand for. Every time Rachel makes a drink, it’s 15/10, but I’ve had poor luck with basically every other employee. I also feel like the food (and drinks), while great and high quality, are very very overpriced ($6+ for a single cupcake? $8 for a small latte?), especially for the area (this is not NYC or Hoboken). I understand organic and GF ingredients cost more, but not THIS much more. Seems like this offering just always becomes financially inaccessible or unsustainable because of the huge markup applied. Have also had kind of poor service when I come here as well - everyone is generally quite nice, but there is ZERO urgency to get orders out and people on their way, even when you call ahead. Space itself is very cute and bespoke. Lastly, the business hours are so so frustrating! Can’t tell you how many times I have wanted to grab dinner there or get anything stuff on a Monday. Overall will remain a customer, though would be WAY more frequent without the above issues.
