I discovered Busy Bee online and made the trip from Country Village, Jersey City, to try them out—and I wasn’t disappointed! The staff was very friendly, and I ordered the gluten-free butternut mac and cheese along with the pistachio dark chocolate tart—both were delicious. I’m always on the lookout for gluten-free restaurants nearby, especially ones that offer pasta options due to my food allergy restrictions. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their dishes!

I’ve heard about this place for a long time and was excited to check it out, as the owner is a fellow NGI culinary school grad :) My boyfriend had the breakfast burrito, and I had a matcha latte with an everything bagel topped with vegan cream cheese, avocado, and tomato. Everything was tasty. My only wish is that the restaurant would make its own vegan cream cheese, so the ingredients could be cleaner and more nutrient-dense—such as a cashew or tofu-based cream cheese—instead of using Violife products, which are primarily made with coconut oil and lack nutrition. Otherwise, I loved the taste of the gluten-free bagel. It was very thin and easy to eat as a sandwich. I look forward to coming back and trying some of the other items!

I ordered from Busy Bee on UberEats and was very pleased with my order! The breakfast burrito was so tasty and filling; that plus a slice of banana bread made two meals for me! I really appreciated that the sauce is dairy free! The gluten free tortilla was tasty and did not fall apart. The granola and banana bread were both very tasty as well! I'm gluten free, dairy free, and pescatarian, and I'm so happy to have found this restaurant that has tasty and nourishing options!

Michelle and her team did a phenomenal job catering my Baby Shower this weekend! She worked with me to develop a menu in advance, and prepared light, delicious offerings for my guests. She easily accommodated various dietary restrictions (gluten free, vegetarian options, peanut free, etc.).
The real show stopper was the cake. WOW! Not only was it flavorful, but the decorations fit perfectly with the theme of the shower (woodland).
I would absolutely recommend Michelle for any catering gig, especially those that need to be gluten free. Thank you Busy Bee!
