I am new to the neighborhood and regular here for my cappuccino. Its overall a good and only cafe and restaurant in the neighborhood. I have tried their breakfast few times which is good and service is good. However, in the name of cafe, its coffee is sub par. They need to make better coffee and lattes and cappuccinos. Also train their staff, new and old for the same. I love service, hospitality and it being pet friendly.

Best cafe spot around! The Lafayette breakfast sandwich NEVER disappoints. Spicy pork and bulgogi tacos are exquisite. Quality espresso as well! Staff is extremely friendly.

Cafe Lafayette is so great that it is part of my morning routine every weekend and whenever I can during the week. Patrick and the team always remember my coffee order and have it ready before I even order when I walk through the door. Everyone is so kind and welcoming, which made it easy for me to integrate into the community coming from NYC. I have nothing but the best to say about this small business 🫶

Friendly and helpful team. Great food for a reasonable price. Spacious cafe that's great for studying, working or hanging out with friends. I've been to this place several times during my short stay in the neighborhood. The only constructive feedback I have would be to pay more attention to how takeouts are packed, especially if there's sauce involved because the sauce in my bao leaked through the cracks of the container and got all over my paper bag. This wouldn't have happened if the container was packed vertically instead of horizontally in the bag. Overall the food and service are great and I'd visit again when I'm in the neighborhood.
