I wish it would have been good but food had no flavor and was gross. Coffee was expensive and bland. Service seemed rushed during taking orders yet no one was in line. It would have been nice to have the attention of dedicated employees to help us find something we may have enjoyed, but instead, we wasted $30+ .... siiiiigghhhhh.

In a city full of incredible cafes, Cafe Lafayette quickly became my favorite. The food and drinks are exceptional, and the environment is warm and inviting. Whether you’re there to chat with friends or to work or study in peace, it offers a friendly, calming atmosphere that brings the community together. The cherry on top is the staff, who go above and beyond with their service and make everyone feel welcome. All of these things come together to create the perfect cafe, and I couldn’t recommend it more.

Not sure what Ryan is smoking, but he quite frankly is wrong. This cafe is AMAZING. The staff first of all are the friendliest, fastest and most efficient team I’ve seen in a long time. Breakfast sandwiches come out in 5 mins. So if you’re in a rush, Boom you’re in and out. Or at least with my experience. They have an extensive list of latte options. Definitely recommend the Nutella Smore. Hot brew coffee is pretty standard coffee. Compared to “eggs up”, Cafe Lafayette is more affordable and realistic portion sizes. If you want exotic egg sandwiches then yeah sure go to other place. Grind on the other hand is purely just coffee and sub-par bagels. ALLSOOOO if you’re not doing the punch card, you’re wasting a free coffee. And my last note is Cafe Lafayette also focuses on building community, with live music a couple times a week, and events/gatherings. If my point hasn’t been made, I clearly love this cafe. Thank you guys as always.

Really unsure what everybody's smoking re: this place. I've been maybe 4-5 times, and every time it's genuinely not great! ingredients are evidently not high-quality, the coffee tastes bad.... with tremendous respect, the 7 people they have behind the bar just walk around in a circle like they've never worked at a coffeeshop....
The power of a prime location and high ceilings, I guess. Go to Grind or Eggs Up (inside the Atlas building) instead – two great cafes in this area.

Highly recommend the beet salad and the steak sandwich — both were fantastic! The vanilla matcha drink was delicious and Milky Way with caramel is also very delicious. Everything tasted super fresh, and the pickup was quick and easy. Prices are a little on the higher side, but the quality ingredients and freshness definitely make it worth it.
I called on the phone and everything was ready within 15 mins very easy and fast service. Make sure you try this little gem out!

never coming back
Delicious breakfast and nice staff.
I recommend!
Prices are okay but food is pretty bland. Expect more flavors from their Korean specialty dishes.

The staff is always professional and polite. The food is always fresh and never disappoints. The owner is very personable. This place is must try and hopefully will remain for years to come, perhaps becoming the staple restaurant for the. Bergen/Lafayette area
