I just finished the Raclette sandwich and it was by far one of the best sandwiches I have ever ate. I had to instantly stop and write a review. I have been to this cafe to get some work done and every time I've been here it is amazing. I am an absolute coffee snob and I feel like they are such great quality, the food is excellent, and the workers are warm and inviting! The seating is great and comfortable. Plus it kind of feels like someone's home which is incredible! A must visit spot and a truly hidden gem!

Ordered a cold brew to-go and left fairly disappointed. Tasted very bitter (almost identical to gas station coffee), and I suspect it’s burnt iced coffee they call cold brew given that cold brew is usually less acidic and milder in taste compared to iced

Used to be amazing. Prices have skyrocketed and often times pastries have a soapy taste. Giving up on them.

Stopped by this morning to check it out after having a slice of their chocolate mousse/praline cake that a friend brought to a party the previous weekend. First off .... the cake was AMAZING with so much lovely praline and mousse filling. I am planning to order one to bring to Thanksgiving dinner. I kinda wish they sold it by the slice so I could indulge more frequently but also kinda glad that it isn't!After looking online, I discovered that this cafe serves croque madames, which I have rarely seen on a local menu. It was really good and served in environment friendly packaging. I also got the leek and cheese croissant, also tasty. It's tough finding parking in this area but you might be able to put your flashers on right in front of the store to run in quickly.

Great food and coffee but service is terrible. We placed an order and the girl at the checkout mixed it up, we wanted to replace only one item, but she refused and we had to pay twice to get what we originally ordered.

This bakery has great food, but very bad service, we placed an order, but the girl at the checkout got it wrong and when we asked to correct the mistake, she refused to do it and we had to pay twice. Overall, if the staff were friendlier this would be a great place.

Great selection, chaos doesn’t prioritize customers who arrived first. Cheese danish was more like a dumpling, not crusty. Croissant is good.

Very disappointed given the ratings and lines. I've given cafe Madeleine several tries as they are my neighborhood bakery. The cheese Danish was horribly undercoated and the pear almond tart was greasy and had an odd taste to it. I suspect they are baking their sweets and savory items at the same time. Would not recommend.

Lovely French cafe, lovely helpful staff, and the biggest selection of quiches and tarts I’ve seen in Jersey City yet!Good prices, great seating, sunny, spacious, ample outlets, great drink options as well and of course some beyond buttery and delicious croissants and pastries?I had a whole dine in lunch for under $20.I enjoyed their hit or miss salmon goat cheese quiche w/ optional combo of side? that had their own yummy Dijon dressing plus a perfect temperature whole milk cappuccino.?Spent another $15 on 5 pastries to go.?So a whole savory, sweet and caffeinated enriching experience for under $40 with tip.*Always tip y’all! They work hard and we’re so helpful with all my questions.#StayHungryFilledINSPIRED easily @CafeMadelaine ???
