Charming but overpriced. Like many cafes leaning on a French aesthetic, this one uses its ambiance to justify inflated prices. The interior is undeniably lovely—spacious and thoughtfully designed—but the offerings don’t quite match the cost, especially given the contrast of the surrounding area (there’s usually homeless over drugged beings next to their cafe)

This French-style café and bakery was a great spot to work remotely. I started with a single shot of espresso—it was rich and strong, far better than your typical chain coffee. The space has a charming vibe with plenty of seating, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I tried a pancake served with butter and fresh fruit, as well as a baked quiche with prosciutto and cheese (wish I had snapped a photo!).
