Ok, I've been to Deccan Spice a few times, because I work in the neighborhood and there are plenty of options here on this strip of Newark Ave. Our lunch today was incredible. It was a quiet lunch time meal, so we got extra attention. We ordered papadam (w a great green dipping sauce) a goat dish (Mutton Sukha), Lamb Vindaloo, and Sag Paneer. All three were top notch. I'll be back.
If you're looking for top-notch Indian food, Deccan Spice is the place to go. The food is absolutely amazing, but the dining experience is made even better by their great hospitality. The staff is incredibly humble and attentive from the moment you walk in. 5/5 stars!
We came after midnight and had a great experience! We tried the Paneer Mandi Biryani, Dynamite Chicken and tandoori paneer. Everything was delicious and the service was great. Definitely recommend!
