Empanadas by Lady G

The guy is really chatty and makes you wanna buy the empanadas. He claims it's a decent size and the quality is the top of the line.
The EMPANADAS are horrible and the guy charged me $10.66 for a jerk chicken and it was only for 1 empanada. The meat had very little flavor and was dry and it was definitely small not a decent size as the man claimed. I don't recommend this place because the quality is horrible and overpriced.

Boy oh Boy I'm still thinking about that oxtail empanada.. 3 days later... that pretty much sums it up... it was that good 👍🏽

Terrible
Chicken buffalo empanada was hard on the outside and extremely spicy and salty on the inside. I think they forgot about my empanada in the fryer because they gave someone their food who came after me 1st. Aldo I wanted 15 minutes for an empanada

The best empanadas I’ve tasted in a while. I got the sweet potato, shrimp and crab, ground turkey and steak and cheese. Everything was very flavorful nothing was overly salty or sweet. I was the last customer of the night. She was generous enough to serve me when she technically didn’t have to. I am definitely coming back soon!

I just ordered shrimp/crab empanada from the truck. The lady was very pleasant. But I just got home and took a bite of the empanada and it’s filled with red imitation crab!!! I’m allergic to it!!! My eyes are red and my throat is sore! 10 dollars for fake crab and 2 extremely small shrimp is ridiculous!! Never again! Post a note stating you use fake crab!!!smh

My first time eating at the truck. I brought 2 steak, 3 Buffalo & 1 jerk empanadas. The steak they didn't really care for but overall everything was delicious!!! Before we got ready to go I purchased 2 more Jerk empanadas. I'm just get home & pop them in the air fryer. I take a bite & no jerk chicken in either one smh... very disappointing

Took 25 minutes when they said it would be 7 minutes. They didn’t give me what I ordered because they messed up someone else’s order and gave that person some of my food. Then most of my food got cold while they made me something I didn’t order to replace what they gave someone else. Not worth the time or money to go here.

Was influenced by a friend and media, saw it at target. OVERRATED, 10$ for ONE empanada, and it was mid. Very overrated overpricing for very small amount. I could of just gone to an Hispanic or Caribbean restaurant and get it for less and better quality.

My wife and I came across the truck in the Target parking lot, and took it as a sign we should have empanadas for dinner. We looked at the menu on their website before ordering, but it turned out to be outdated so some things we wanted weren’t available.We wound up ordering the jerk chicken, buffalo chicken, spinach & feta, cheesesteak, and cheesy mac. Everything was well seasoned and the shells were crispy, and despite the buffalo sauce being hotter than we expected, the food was solid.The service was excellent. The staff was friendly and kept things moving quickly. They wound up missing two of our empanadas, but when I pointed that out they threw in an apple cinnamon - which was excellent - for the trouble.If you come across the truck, definitely give them a try.

i loved having them at the monmouth county fair! i looked forward to eating the empanadas everyday i worked and the women working in the tent were very kind! best empanada i’ve ever had easier.

Second person to order and it took greater than 30 minutes to get my food from the food truck. Frustrated by how slow the food truck service was. The did give my an extra empanada to make up for the long wait.

Kindness goes a long way. I had to tell the cashier that he needs to work on his customer service. A woman before me on line was asking questions and he was giving her an attitude, before she walked away. He gave me an attitude as well when I asked about a menu item, especially when I couldn't hear him over the live music nearby. The jerk chicken was okay, flavorful but dry and the Mac and cheese wasn't that great. Even if they were kind I would have enjoyed the food more. Don't be annoyed to answer the same questions all day everyday. It's part of owning a business.
