The only reason I gave this location 4 stars is that the time I arrived, they only had the lunch menu available. However, the food is phenomenal the wait time was a little too long but the food was great the empanadas did not disappoint I ordered like 6 of them and the catfish sandwich was excellent it could use a special sauce but otherwise 5 stars across the board shuld out to the cook im excited to go to the part that opens after 4 pm to try the full menu Thank you Lady G

The food hit, but the lightskin broad that works the register got a terrible attitude. She’s cordial with the female customers from what I’ve observed, but with the men she acts like I should be thankful she speaking to me or me something.

Horrible security.. outsiders trying to do what the security supposed to do.. super unprofessional and very unsafe..
Also there was a man outside the place threatening to smack a female and apparently was claiming to be the owners bestfriend

Such a vibe, this place! Amazing empanadas that are generously stuffed, and fried chicken like someone big back southern gramma homemade it. Everyone was super nice and inviting, I cannot wait to go back!

Ordered through Uber Eats and it was for (3) of the Fish/Shrimp combo for “Fish Fry Friday” and it said we can choose 3 sides: I chose Mac & Cheese, Yams and Fries for sides. When I received the order and opened it up, it wasn't what I ordered as you can see in the photo. No Mac & Cheese and Yams for either of the 3 meals. Mind you one order was supposed to have sweet potato fries. I called and told them the issue, the lady on the phone who said she was the manager, stated that the combo is an error and it only came with one side not three, but its on Uber Eats??? (shown in photo) She said they didn't “upgrade their system” (menu) but that is unfair to say to a customer that doesn't know that when ordering through Uber Eats. Since I didn't know when ordering, as a customer I should've been granted what I see on Uber Eats which was 3 sides. Customers shouldn't have to deal with the consequences of an incorrect order due to the responsibility of a restaurant not “upgrading their system”(menu) on Uber Eats. In addition, the restaurant printed not one but two receipts of the Uber Eats order. So they see that it's called for 3 sides and not one through Uber Eats.This also show that this is what customers see on Uber Eats. So as a customer that ordered, this is what I should've been given. However, the restaurant didn't even offer to solve the issue. Just took our $84. Terrible customer service. They are wrong for this in which I wont support this restaurant again or even in the future.

As of 8/12/25, the owner responds to this situation after a month stating “it never said that” (lying) instead of taking accountability it’s sad. Again won’t be supporting this business. My screenshots are not lies and are indeed truthful. Unfortunately you can’t give 0 stars for reviews

I attempted to place an order over the phone and was told all phone orders had to paid with a credit card or debit card. Totally understandable I chose to go in and place my order because I don’t like giving out that information over the phone. I placed my order and was told it would be a 30 minute wait to be fair I was fine with that but I ended up waiting 1 hour and 40 minutes. I ordered a fried chicken dinner (they only have fried wings), a whiting fish and shrimp combo, oxtail empanada and a steak and shrimp dinner which should have been cooked medium well but was medium rare if that. I’m still not sure what I waited 1 hour and 40 minutes for. The woman in the front repeatedly yelled to the kitchen for my steak to be cooked medium well and the receipt said it as well. I called to inform them the woman was very apologetic and offered to send me a new meal but that didn’t work because I drove 40 minutes to get my meals. Horrible experience food was mid oxtail empanada was great. This place seems very unorganized they don’t pay attention and everyone is running around like chickens with their head cut off. A loud woman came out to the front using profanity yelling while my child and I waited. A man continuously nodded in and out in the waiting area. The woman apologized for him and offered me a free slushie for the inappropriateness. I spent over $100 for a meal all to be disappointed. The experience and the food. Oxtail empanada is great, fish and shrimp fantastic. Everything else very mid. I don’t see myself ordering again. The woman offered me to sit in the restaurant area while I waited not particularly my crowd and I had my child with me. The restaurant area is beautiful with a lovely bar but I highly doubt I’ll ever return again I will stick to getting an empanada from the festivals. Let’s not forget parking is HORRIBLE!!!! They have potential but needs plenty of work!!

Service 10/10 food is amazing drinks is great ! And I fogot to get the young lady name but she delivered my sauces to me personally! When they forgot it thank uuuuuuu!

The place is totally unprofessional esp the Lightskin girl tht takes your order. Very rude gossip queen and lack professionalism!! Horrible dining experience and placing orders of food on line..then they wonder why ppl don’t support

Great place and excellent vibe. Had myself a wonderful time here. I was absolutely floored by the amount of cheese pull I was able to accomplish throughout my entire bowl of grits and catfish. Even stayed for a second helping and had the lobster tails and French toast FANTASTIC 😍 Will definitely be back
