Family-owned restaurant. They offer combo options (so good for a fast meal) and a la carte menu. Food is ok. People are friendly. No tipping is expected for dining in.

We had an awesome boodle birthday party at Flip Vibes! I contacted them only days before because we had a change of plans but they were quick to help me arrange the party. The crew and the chef were friendly. The food selection were great and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the party and will consider them on future events. Thank you, Flip Vibes!

Delicious Filipino Cuisine just right around the corner.

Staff is very friendly and very informative when it comes to explaining or recommending dishes. The Tapsilog and Tocilog were so good. I was surprised about the yellow rice instead of the usual garlic white rice but it was welcomed changed. The highlight for us was the Sisig Shanghai. I would come back just for this. The usual order is 4 pieces cut in half, but it was later in the day so they only had 2 pieces left. Just worth mentioning so you know what the typical order size is.

Glad to have this spot so close to home!

Parking: There is only free street parking available.

I was so surprised to see a Filipino restaurant on a delivery app. My options are so limited in the Newark area but now, I finally have a go-to restaurant that actually has good food. Their java rice is authentic and tastes a lot like home! The chicken bbq's marinate is perfect (sweet, tangy, soy-saucey) and the serving itself is not bad for the price. Will definitely re order again!

This restaurant just opened recently about 4 months ago and is a good addition for good home made Filipino food with a flair. Portion sizes are big and good for sharing if you are not as hungry.

Ericson the owner / chef is very friendly and down to earth. We happened to go into the establishment when it was empty and was able to casually converse with him.

They have karaoke in the evenings and offer a Boodle Fight (bundled family/group shared meal with a variety of main course with rice dishes).

We had the tapsilog and the tuyosilog with the taro drinks. They were served beautifully, and the taro drinks were not too sweet (we requested less sugar). The portions were just enough, and we were full when we left. Chef Erickson was attentive and paid attention to detail on how he made the tapsilog really delicious and presentable.

I would recommend this place to anyone.

Parking: Parking between 9am to 3pm was plenty

Their prices are overpriced for example, $24 for kare kare that goes up to $27 with taxes. The food was just alright with not enough meat and vegetables and it didn’t even include rice which is so unFilipino to me. I’m never going here again

My friend recommended this place after I commented on her instagram post. I decided to try it out and I’m glad I did! I ordered the pork chop silog and the bbq chicken with Java rice to go. Both dishes were delicious, I can’t wait to try their longsilog!

It's the best restaurant. The owner, the employees and the food were delicious. My favorite is chicken barbecue with white rice.

I’m not Filipino! However I spent 10 years of my life in the Bay Area and needless to say I was introduced to copious amounts of Filipino food. I must say Flip Vibes is amazing. The staff is always friendly, and the food is not only authentic, the portions are huge and everything is prepared fresh. I make it a point to stop by for the sinigang na boi at least 3 times a month and I live 30 minutes away. This is my go to spot!!!!!!
