Pastries were good, breakfast sandwich was basic and bland, bacon is pretty thin, while being on the higher price point.. sadly will likely not return. Even though the staff are friendly. I actually brought the sandwich home to add seasoning and sauces.
The griot sandwich is incredible. Jerk pork and spicy slaw and avacado held between two fried plantains. Sometimes I have dreams about this sandwich. Everything else on the menu is like fine ig. it all pales in comparison to griot sandwich get the griot sandwich
This place it cute, modern, great menu... it was just the execution of my food.
Its called Chicken & Waffles, not Chicken WINGS and Waffles. I was disappointed as I got 2 wings with my order... like why would anyone want that? Can I get a thigh? A breast? But 2 wings?! Cmon now... ya did me dirty Griot. If I wanted wings I would have gone to a local bar... then on top of that one wing was still bloody and a bit undercooked!!!! I couldn't even finish...
