We went to Hudson Hound for Mother's Day dinner with my 88 yo mother. She is a purist when it comes to her steak, so we ordered the filet medallions with no sauce. It came out with sauce and when they refired it, it came out cold. Third time was a charm and it was delicious. She enjoyed the mash potatoes and spinach that they substituted for her instead of the broccolini. The rest of us enjoyed our meals as well. It's a sports bar. The food was ok, I had the HH Benedict with salmon. They forgot the salmon and one of the poached eggs came broken. The waiter immediately took it back, instead of the whole thing being redone, one he returned with it;the hollandaise on the side was thick and congealing. The salad was overdressed, and the potatoe cake cold.
The food and service was fine, the issue was with the reservation. I made a reservation here through openTable and was asked to confirm TWO times once, actually through OpenTable, which I did. When we got to the restaurant they said they didnt have a reservation for me and I was shown the tablet also. We were seated after some back and forth but was told we could only have the table until 6:30 (which was about an hour and a half after our reservation) again which was odd because...
