Go somewhere else, not only is this place look disgusting, food is not fresh, but the owner has listed low prices and decides to charge whatever he wants… When he was called out for it he started yelling then decided to throw a quarter at me… In NY/NJ if a bagel shop automatically toasts a bagel without asking it’s a huge red flag that they know their bagel isn’t good… Go somewhere else…

Came in today for a bagel with cream cheese and jelly and it was really good. This is a nice local breakfast spot I go too. With great prices. The man working there is nice and friendly. He is very hardworking and attentive.

The owner is very polite, kind, and efficient in my experience. The prices are beyond reasonable for this area of Jersey City, and the food is always solid. I'm not a bagel person, but I like the rolls; taylor ham, egg, and cheese is my go-to. I always order in-person or for pick-up only and have had zero issues. I always see the owner holding down the fort in the front and back, so I give him a little time and space to let him do what he needs to do. I'm a fan of small businesses, especially ones that clearly take pride in their establishment. Pretty surprised at the negative reviews, but to each their own, I suppose. My go-to breakfast lunch spot when I'm at work. I am a fan ❤️

The line at Wonder Bagels was too long and Hidden Grounds was closed, so we popped in for 2 bagels with flavored cream cheese and 2 coffees. The bagels were definitely not fresh, which is surprising considering it was a Sunday morning. Cream cheese was tasty but they skimped on the cream cheese. Coffee was self service in those coffee canteens, but it was hot and fresh.Id go back for a cheap cup of coffee but it was basically like getting breakfast at a 7-11.It was affordable at least. 2 bagels with flavored cream cheese and 2 coffees was $14.

The mornings were usually pleasant, and I would often order a breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, and onions on a long roll. One day, when I went to eat my sandwich, I found eggshells in it. I calmly approached the employee and informed him of the situation. However, he accused me of becoming loud and aggressive, even though I was speaking normally. I told him that my voice carries, but I was not yelling. Despite this, he continued to be unhelpful and told me that my money did not matter. I reminded him that my reviews do matter. As a result, I have decided never to eat there again. If you are looking for quality food and service, I would not recommend this café.

This place sucks. The person was rude to his guest. Also, he tells them to leave for simply saying excuse me.

Ordered the avocado chicken sandwich wrapped in a panini white bread. It was very tasty and the avocado and vegetables tasted very fresh.

I love bagels so I'm truly hard to please but here's my hot take. It was okay! It wasn't the best bagel I have ever had but it's also not bad. I like a warm fluffy fresh bagel and this was given stale energy. I didn't love the spread of cream cheese ratio either. It felt like it was all clumped in one place. It's a cute little place and the man who served me was nice. This totally could of been an off day for the bagels and I'm willing to give it another try but for now this is not gonna be my go to bagel spot. Btw I got an everything bagel toasted with cream cheese ‍

Ordered on DoorDash and it took about an hour and a half to receive. Felt bad for the driver who waited for so long at the restaurant. Bagels were not good. They were more like grocery store/deli bagels, nowhere near the quality of a typical “true bagel place”. Only positive was the food was cheap.

If I️ could rate this a 0 on all aspects I️ would. I️ went in on a Sunday afternoon for 2 bagels. The man taking orders (who I️ think was the owner) was insanely rude and unprofessional. He yelled at the customer in front of me because they “couldn't speak english” and told them to get out. There were multiple customers coming in for pickup orders and he wouldn't look at them and would respond “Not ready. Get out goodbye”. Lastly he was “taking orders” but not writing anything down and not telling the cook so nothing was even coming out. He repeated my order back to me twice (after not writing it down) and was wrong both times. I️ wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.

A very involved owner runs this little bagel cafe — it’s our go to for breakfast sandwiches or pancakes / French toast w our kids. The prices are good, food is good. The coffee I don’t like, that’s the only thing I wouldn’t recommend. Good little spot!
