Island Vibes Jamaican Restaurant

I’m here visiting for a few days, and I decided to order some Jamaican food, taste soo good I had to order more on my second day. Honestly the only thing I didn’t really like was the festival because I prefer it to be soft, the ackee n Saltfish was perfect, jerk chicken was soo good, and the patty and coco bread taste like from Jamaica. Please get the 2 L drink portions for D n G.

Ordered the Rasta pasta and there was no Rasta in this pasta paid $20 for flavorless unseasoned food I could have made better in my house. Absolutely horrible. Had to add my own seasoning just for it to be edible. Don’t waste your money

I ordered their “Island Vibes Burger” with fries through Uber Eats and you couldn’t even see the meat on the burger. All you see was a big bread some lettuce and tomatoes. I opened it to see the meat and when I saw it, it was pretty small and the presentation and taste was horrible. I called the restaurant and the staff was really rude and not helpful at all. Not buying from them again.

The food was TASTELESS, LAZY, and DOWNRIGHT DISGUSTING!
I ordered oxtails, greens, and yams. The oxtail was hard and dry. The greens was tasteless and had no meat in it, and the yams were soggy. You charge wayy too much for food that’s made by lazy people.

Very average Jamaican food…got a “small plate” of oxtail w/ rice and pea + cabbage. Rice and cabbage didn’t taste like anything, oxtails were mostly bones. Waste of $27 to be honest.

This just popped up in my memories and pissed me off all over again lol. Undercooked, or should I say non cooked, yams deserve jail time. I bit into raw potatoes and might not ever forgive them for this ! If you’re looking for good Jamaican food, for the love of god look elsewhere !

I’m a born and raised Jamaican I know great Jamaica food and this is by far the worst food I’ve ever buy….it was fried chicken rice and beans with curry goat gravy…for side order I asked for yam and they gave me banana. I asked for no gravy on my rice. It was all over the rice plus the rice taste like it’s just oil and top of it the chicken was raw burned and dry the plantain taste like it’s from this morning I try eating it with pepper sauce just not to waste it but it ends up in the trash can
