Just Friends Cafe has the best Italian food in Downtown Jersey City in my opinion! I love that it is BYO and the prices are extremely reasonable, you can’t beat a $30 filet mignon.
Absolutely adore Just Friends! Highly recommend as a little date spot in JC. The staff are so kind and very attentive, the food is delicious, and it has that small mom and pop shop vibe. It’s literally small, so just know your conversation will be heard by everyone, but would rather that than be screaming across a table to be heard. Also they have gluten free options for most pasta and a dessert, nothing gluten free app wise.
We are vegetarian so the options for us a good. Coffee was good too.
