I first tried King’s Pride 2 weeks ago. I had the Efo Riro with chicken and pounded yam. Within those two weeks, I had to come back 3 times because the food was so delicious. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The proportions are generous. 1 order of the Efo Rio would probably hold me 2-3 meals…I think that’s a great deal. The owner is delightful, she greets everyone with the sweetest smile and the overall customer service is 10/10. I highly recommend...
A true authentic African restaurant was indeed needed in Jersey City and this place did not disappoint! The food was amazing! I got the egusi stew w/ assorted meats and fufu via takeout - and it was the best I've ever had and it was plentiful! Wishing you all much success on your new business!
Unfortunately, I did not take pics but a 100/10 experience!!! The owner was the sweetest and made everything from scratch when we ordered. I had the egusi and fufu, beef suya, puff puff, and chin chin. Everything was worth the wait and the food warrants visits in the future. Would definitely recommend!
