Good basic real Chinese food, do not come here for orange chicken. It can be intimidating to order but they have a good wall menu and online menus as well. The food is really tasty, and the portions are good for the price. It’s one of my favorite easy dinner places.
I ordered takeout casually a few weeks ago. When I saw chaogan on the menu, I was surprised and placed the order. However, after arriving at the entrance, I felt that this store is not very good. The fried liver tastes quite good, but the thickened gravy is a bit unacceptable, and there are very few ingredients; the tofu curd is filled with five-spice powder, which is very painful for the person eating it. ;The meat skewers are okay; the last thing I like the most is actually...
+1 star for having jian bing, which is generally tough to come by in the area. It was pretty good! The cumin lamb wrap was also tasty--skip the soup though. Generally glad to have Chinese street food options like this in JC.
