Ridiculous portions, over priced and mediocre food. Definitely not recommended

Six of us went for father's day brunch. Reservation was done well in advance for six people. On check in we were asked to occupy a table for four with two extra chairs in spite of the fact that there was a proper table for six right next to where we were asked to seat. On pointing this out, we were told that they are putting a party of eight on that table and that party was already waiting. It took some arguing to finally get a proper table for six. They gave an option for other table with high chairs which we politely declined because for couple of members in our group it was not possible to climb high chairs. And the worst part is that there was one more table for six people which remained unoccupied throughout our stay there. This was the special occasion and we expected this expensive place to give us the best experience which was not to be. As far as food is concerned, I will give 5 stars because everything was delicious. We had also ordered two flights of mimosas and coffee & were very happy with that. Just wish that the restaurant management takes a note of what we experienced from the hostess and address it.

It’s a nice place but for me experience was not super enjoyable. I came in, place is half empty. EMPTY. 2 hostesses and 1 chef hanging out on the entrance - I say I’m here for happy hour. Which I still have 10-11 minutes till the end of it. They told me “oh happy hour is over” - technically it’s on till 6pm based on their menu! 😁😅 they told me I can only get it at the bar, so I went and ordered everything right away on the bar, bartender was VERY NICE! friendly, and most importantly NOT MEAN like the 3 hostesses. We placed an order in 2 minutes and finished with happy hour order right before 6, at 5:55pm Also bartender told me that happy hour is NOT ONLY at the bar BUT is all over the restaurant- which reminder was empty How could they not accommodate 1 person and place an order in 10 minutes no idea 🤷♀️
Will not go to this place again, not friendly. However view is nice, restaurant is brand new
They should teach their staff how to be polite, smile 😃 make people WANT to spend money
I would have oysters from happy hour and would also get a full meal. But because the staff is not friendly you know I would have my meal somewhere else!!!

This place is absolutely amazing! The food is always fresh, and really delicious! The ambiance is beautiful as well, right on the water with spectacular views! The service also is always spot on and appreciate our host Omar, he's been an absolute pleasure! Even met the head chef, very friendly and very talented of course. Everything I've tried has been 10 out 10. Its easily one of my favorite places to dine in. I highly recommend this place!

What a fantastic experience! Everything about the evening was perfect from the atmosphere of the facility to the well-crafted cocktails to the delicious food to the stellar service. It was the perfect venue for getting together with old friends and reminiscing. We were lucky enough to arrive just before happy hour ended so grabbed some cocktails and olives as well as both the meat and cheese platters which were great. For the meal we shared several small plates of shishito peppers, duck rillettes, and lamb chops. Everything was executed perfectly and to say that the service went above and beyond is a massive understatement and I am extremely grateful for their care and concern for us. Will be visiting this place again and again

I've visited Lokal with both family and friends, and it never disappoints! The food is consistently incredible, with a menu full of delicious options that always hit the mark. I went for brunch this morning, I tried one of the best avocado toast and eggs Benedict I've ever eaten—as a breakfast enthusiast, it's safe to say that I will be coming back here again soon!
