Attended an alumni event at Lokal. Appetizers and drinks were very good. The wait staff was attentive but not intrusive. The highlight of the evening is the incredible view of Manhattan from the glass windows inside the restaurant. Terrific location with paid parking options. There was another event being held outside on the patio. The bar and restaurant were busy on a Tuesday evening. Will return again.

Amazing ! Wish I could give it 10 stars. We all couldn’t believe how good it was we all ended up sharing our meals to ensure we all tasted everything. Best meal I have had out in many years. The food quality, taste and food service was absolutely top notch.Thank you !

food was good, service was avg. was sat at the bar for 15mins for them to put together a small table despite the restaurant being more than half empty. couldn't transfer the bill from the bar to the table eithershrimp fettuccine was great, mushroom paparadelle was good, mushroom Al ajillo was great, beet salad oddly didn't have beetroot but was good

Lokal is a Hudson waterfront restaurant with spectacular views of the Hudson River and downtown Manhattan. It is nested between Exchange Place and Newport PATH stations, right on the promenade. Designed with a trendy and airy loft vibe in mind, the Lokal boasts contemporary details. The food is on par: I had a ceviche and sautéed spinach, both were quite excellent!

Beautiful views of the NY skyline in Jersey City.-This is a great date night place or just to grab food/drinks with friends.I've been here for brunch and dinner.-The food was delicious both times (check out my photos for a good visual).-The service was great both times with courteous staff with a minimal to no wait time for seating.I highly recommend this place especially in the spring/summer when outdoor dining is available.
