The portions were small for the price. The flavors were okay but they were very stingy with chicken. One dish had old tasting vegetables. Would not return.

I would give this place 3.5 stars if I could. I found it on Eater. So, I assumed it was good. I tried a Chicken Torta and Enchiladas Verdes. The Torta was disappointing. The Torta bread was not authentic. It was a typical sub roll. Not Mexican Torta bread. The toppings were OK. Not great, not bad. There were some legitimate flavors. The beans, cheese, jalapenos, etc... It was served with French Fries. That's not Mexican food. The fries were bad. They looked cooked. But, they did not taste cooked. I should not have ordered a Torta there. There were only two (2) choices.
The Enchiladas Verdes was impressive. It was a large plate with authentic Enchiladas. The sauce was spicy and flavorful. The corn tortillias tasted fresh. There was sliced avocado and lots of tasty beans and rice. It was an impressive dish. I know people think large portions are important. This was good food. I would go back for that.

Disgusting

Old looking ??restaurant with terrible non speaking English staff. The tacos were DRY AS WOOD. No side sauces. Never again. I'm better off to make them at home!

I always like to go to a Spanish restaurant and get the local flavor food. It's always good. The atmosphere is always pleasant when I sit down. Price is always right and the people always exceptional.

The food was amazing. The service was amazing. Honestly, we all received different menu items and they were all equally delicious delicious delicious. You have to try it . My favorite was the Churrasco/Rabo/moro guandule/pernil abuchuela rice/ENTIRE MENU
! Highly recommended.

Eater: long-established rest looks like dance hall w/yellow walls; offers rarely seen tacos, including el hombres and tacos quillos (steak & caramel'd onions inside). Watch out for Oaxacan memelas

I wanted to grab a bite for my partner so I decided to go with something simple....guacamole and chips, $12. It was on point.The service is amazing, feels like im in my mothers kitchen. The decor lacks luster but the food is even better. This tiny hole in the wall is a gem when it comes to shrimp tacos and freshly made guacamole. You can even ask to have it made spicy (I passed on the offer and went with mild). Those are my only two go to items so far. I highly recommend trying other items and leaving a detailed review.

NOBODY SPEAKS ENGLISH! Had placed order online then went to pickup. Not only did my order NOT go thru I was billed for it. The staff looked @ me like I was diseased & nobody would help. VERY RUDE this place is & I would NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone????
