We liked this Malaysian restaurant for its authentic food and friendly service.

The beef satay was tender and flavorful. For noodle dishes, we liked Char kway teow (fried rice noodle) and Seafood tom yum mee hoon (rice noodle soup). Their Hainan chicken wasn't our favorite.

The location was a bit out of the way for us. Otherwise, we would have visited more often.
I’d been wanting to try this restaurant for the longest time, and I finally got the chance on December 4th. They offer a wide variety of dishes, all served hot and served exactly when you need them. Everything I tried was genuinely delicious. This place definitely did not disappoint—I'll absolutely be coming back.
Mamak House was a great surprise. The char kway teow has the strongest wok hei I’ve tasted in New Jersey — smoky, flavorful, and cooked hot. The seafood was fresh, especially the shrimp.

The fried chicken wings were thin, crispy, and had that old-school Chinese style I really like.

The salted fish eggplant claypot is bold and salty, with big chunks of salted fish. Alone they’re strong, but mixed with the eggplant and sauce, the flavor...
