Mariscos el Submarino is a wonderful and energetic restaurant in Jersey City, serving amazing and authentic Mexican seafood. The food is excellent, fresh, flavorful, and fairly priced, with a spicy kick. Many call it their new favorite spot.

The tacos are very good, a 10/10, with some of the best seafood tacos around. Favorites include the large shrimp with cheese taco, and the yummy fish, shrimp, and craken tacos. Other standout dishes are the spectacular shrimp cocktail, an out-of-this-world good tuna tostada, the caldo de camarón, and the Gobernador. Everything is freshly made with good portions.

The staff is super friendly, genuine, patient, and efficient, providing great service with a smile. Cocktails are great, too, like the tasty mezcal margarita with passion fruit and the good paloma. The restaurant has a lot of energy and is a place for a quick bite or a relaxing meal with friends and family. A medley of hot sauces, including a great habanero with pineapple salsa, is on each table.
