The drinks are excellent - the espresso is very smooth and lacks that bitter flavor that a lot of bigger places have. The folks working there have all been very kind and friendly. I need to swing by earlier so I can actually hang out here. One critique I have is that you seem to be a queer-friendly establishment - please work on pronouns and don't assume nonbinary/gender bending folks prefer to be addressed as ma'am. No offense - that just isn't my preference.
I go to modcup a few times a week, even though it's not the closest coffee shop to me lol. The coffee is always high quality and well-made. The guy behind the counter most days is super friendly and knowledgeable about coffee. Never had a bad experience.
