Newport center mall Popeyes is under new management. Service has improved food taste better. Customer service is better. If you are spanish they are now bilingual...give this place another try they have made great improvements
I usually don’t leave reviews but this has got to be the worst Popeyes I’ve ever been to. Half of what I ordered was not available.The staff was extremely RUDE. Not only did they not offer an apology but they also pretended like I was doing them a favor by taking what food they offered me as replacement. When I asked for the sauce I had ordered while leaving which not provided, the server stormed in, picked up 6+ packets of the sauce and flung them into my bag without speaking at all.Will never return.

People that work here have no respect to to their customers. Service is terrible. The manager level needs to do something about picking the right staffs or training. Very disappointing and disturbing.
Service bad cos when we order they jst talk with each other so much attitude when questions ask and food they charge $50 something and give me jst little food worst jst change the staff and it will get good rating . And when we explain they jst ignore us

How the manager/supv isn’t fired yet, is beyond me.A long line of waiting customers was formed, not because it was busy, but because the employees of this well staffed establishment were too busy fooling around instead of boxing up orders and going through the tickets. Chicken were visibly ready. They just needed to box it up. Present manager/supv doesn’t seem to care at all.These people deserve the minimum wage and I hope they don’t get any sort of increases.Didn’t know Popeyes hired people to do absolutely nothing. Never coming back here for a “quick” lunch.

Food (4/5): Got the $11 combo of wings, tenders, and 2 sides. We selected fries and rice and beans for the sides. The food was pretty good and as expected of Popeyes. Not the healthiest dishes but quite good for fast food chicken.Service (3/5): Not the friendliest service but the food came out with no large issues this time. The order did take a bit long and sometimes they'll get your order or sauces wrong so double check. They also gave us water cups which was great.Ambiance (3/5): Part of the Jersey City Mall food court. There are tons of seats and it's usually mostly clean. The Popeyes is a large station area far from the bathroom and other food stalls.
